    Default The Best Hair Straightner

What is the best hair straightner? I don't care about price.

I don't see myself buying a Chi, because in a lot of reviews I've read, people say it dies quickly. I definantly won't be buying an InStyler, because it's what I had before and it was just okay.

A 29.99 Wet to Straight Remington (2") is the best hair straightener I've ever bought...two years ago. I still have it, and still works perfectly!

I have GHDs... they are HUGE here in the UK. I would never use anything else. I love them.

I currently am using the Jilbere de Paris silver nano something or other.
    http://www.sallybeauty.com/nano-flat...efault,pd.html <--- that one, I think.
Ceramic, easy to clean... temperature settings between 300 and 450.
    It's fairly cheap, under $100.

I like it because it SEEMS TO DO less damage to my hair than other, similarly priced irons, less broken off bullshit flyaway strands and such. I use it a few times a week and I've only had to trim my hair like twice in the last year.

Thanks for the recommendations, guys! I'm getting a GHD for sure, since it's the majorities favorite.

Sedu. With the exception of the one I use when I'm in Israel, it's the best I've ever found.

I have a GHD which I like, I used my friends CHI and it seemed to work better but I can't comment on longevity. My GHDs usually last at least 4 years.

I second the GHD Motion!! I LOVE it. I also really like the FHI, and I plan on trying out the new Joico KPak flat iron! It uses steam to straighten and infuse a nourishing hair treatment into your hair!

Another vote for the GHD! I've had mine for about 7 years now and it's still going strong

Wow, I'm going to have to check out the reviews for the FHI. It sounds like it would be a lot less damaging than other straightners.

Well the FHI and the Joico KPak are two separate things lol, the FHI is cool because it can get your hair super super straight, but you can adjust the heat settings unlike some of the other ceramic irons.

The Joico Kpak uses the steam not only to straighten your hair, but the heat of the iron allows the "vapor fuel" (which is a heat protectant and hair anti-oxidant and strengthening treatment) to penetrate really deeply in the hair instead of just coating it, as well as assists in moisture retention so your hair is shiny and healthy afterwards instead of burnt and dry. I've seen really great reviews on it, you should definitely check it out! It's on my list but I probably won't get it for at least another month because I'm a total beauty junkie and I need to slow down lol

Haha, I meant the Joico KPak, I read your post too fast. I'm looking at some Youtube videos on it now, and it makes your hair look so shiny and straight. I always forget to use a heat protectant and I get split ends easily, so this straightner would be perfect for me. I like how it's bigger too ... the skinny flat irons kind of annoy me, because my hair is so thick, so this is perfect.

Oh, and I really need to slow down on the beauty items too. I'm just really sick of using the InStyler. This straightner is on the top of my list for beauty items ... I just need to decide between this and the GHD, but I'm leaning towards the Joico. I'm just going to chill on the makeup items for awhile so I can afford to spend money on a GOOD straighter, lol.
