Thanks so much for all the tips girls, this is just what i need to hear right now. I think you're probably right about starting off slow. I had all these plans then i suddenly thought hey i haven't done any exercise or controlled my diet for SO long, if i try it all at once my body is NOT going to be happy lol! So tomorrow is the first day of my new (revised) plan. I'm going to try a short run in the morning, mixing it with walking, and i'm going for an induction at my local gym in the afternoon. I figure it's a heck of a lot of money in fees, but if there's someone there to show me the ropes of getting fit and support me, then that alone is worth it. Plus the gym is cosy and warm when it's horrid weather out I'm going to do the zumba class on thurs too, so in total that makes it one or two walk/ runs, one or two gym sessions, and one exercise class for the first week. Will slowly build it up from there. Hehe i'm actually excited about it xx

I used to hate the gym. Now I feel sad if I don't go every day.
You have to just find what makes your own willpower tick. But the biggest tip that helped me (and there were many - everyone thinks they're an expert on exercise/health) is the following fact:

It takes approximately 6 weeks of doing something regularly for it to become a habit.

So, whatever you choose, do it for a minimum of 6 weeks. That way your chosen path will become an integral part of your life, and not just a weight loss fad.

I like all the excersie tips here. Cut out sugar- that is important. Just be sure to eat food( more than an apple and banana because you don't want this to happen:

Heart problems, such as mitral valve prolapse, abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure
Bone loss, increasing risk of fractures later in life
    Kidney problems
If a person with anorexia becomes severely malnourished, every organ in the body can sustain damage, including the brain, heart and kidneys. This damage may not be fully reversible, even when the anorexia is under control
.. from the mayo clinic website..

...... so yeah dont try the extreme diets =not good for you
proper foods .. cutting out carb, sugar, and dairy(for me) . Weight lifting and pilates are great too.
