Default Older Newbie needs NY advice

    Hi All,

Im trying to find a club but not having much luck. Im from NY and I live in Brooklyn. I don't drive so any club will need to be by public transportation. Im in my late twenties and never danced before but I get told I look anywhere from 21-25 if I get enough sleep lol. I had a baby so i have a c section scar and every part of my body is pretty toned except the stomach can use more work. Im a black woman with a honey tone complexion, pretty face but I dont look exotic. Im 5'3, 36-30-38 more towards the thick side but not thin. I think I can stand to lose another 10 lbs to be at my best but I would like to start working soon. I tried starlets in Queens but its way too far, Sin city I was offered a day shift but the men there are disrespectful in my opinion so I was kind of using it as a last resort and Ive tried a couple other clubs not worth mentioning. I can't work at Perfections as it is by my old neighborhood. I need suggestions on clubs with decent clientele or at least a start up place where I can work and make some decent money while I lose weight and work on my look and hustle. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Not sure if wild wild west off BQE is still open, or that other club around the corner, Cherry, is there but you might want to start there. As for decent clientele, non exist in the boroughs outside of manhattan. And in Manhattan, most of them have high criteria ie:scars, tattoos, weight, etc. But don't let that discourage you. As a new dancer, I recommend to you go and find out on your own. Do a search on here too. From my experience, Manhattan clubs are the best. Good luck!

Wild Wild West is either now Peyton's playpen or very near to it. Used to be a nude bar but now they serve beer and so its not nude any more. I called and spoke to the owner he wasn't rude or a douche bag at least on the phone at all. I hear this place is a dive and has mostly black and latina women working but it seems like a clean place(no extras) from the reviews.

Hi... I have worked the Playpen in Brooklyn. Other clubs mostly nude clubs. I have a C sec too and I know shaved is so popular but I have a very neatly trimmed triangle and it is jet black. Sort of my trade mark but anyway I'm older and get away with the triangle and it covers most of my c sec. Guys are guys and some like the triangle and the c sec. I don't get many complaints. I also work in NJ at a few clubs.

feel free to contact me if you want
