What is your personal experience of this position of implant please...
I know about it.... I almost did it, but my doc said under the muscle would be best for me. It's basically over the muscle, the fascia is very thin. Are you thinking about Dr. Metcalfe by chance?

No babes, I'm researching Dr Chartchai and possibly Dr Terrasit in Thailand. I worry about the potential for drooping later on, and the higher caps.contract. rate than submuscular placement. The more natural appearance and movement + not affecting workouts appeals to me tho.

One of my consulting PS wanted to do it for me too cause I work out a lot he said it was a better option. I was totally skeptical because I have the skinniest, bony rib cage ever and I didn't see how just fascia would be enough to cover the implant. I went for dual plane instead and Im sooo happy I did because I have rippling in the plane thats uncovered (even with silicone), so I definitely woulda had awful rippling with sub-fascia. I think if you have enough breast tissue to cover the implant it would be a good option though.

Does breast tissue only mean how big your boobs are pre-surgery? or does it have something to do with the tissue you have inside the boob and whether it is fiborous or something?
I'm a small B cup.

^ beast tissue is just how big your boobs are.

I guess it depends... What band size are u? I was a small b or big a but my rib cage us really small with no fat. Can u see your ribs anywhere?

I had this procedure done for one of my many sets of implants. They actually looked great, but the 'separated' fascia caused problems during a subsequent surgery. However, if you're settled on the idea that you're only going to get one size / set of implants ever, the cosmetic advantages may very well be worth considering.

Melonie makes a good point... Melonie. How would u compare it to overs? Have u had overs? Just cause fascia is very very thin anyway. Does it really even make that Much of a difference?
Not to thread Jack but I also have a question, how does placement effect movement? Such as if your doing pole tricks or use upper body strength in daily life what would be good placement so they don't move around?

^ overs or sub fascia would be best. With unders your muscle grips the implant... and I with my dual plane which give a tear drop shape you actually permanently lose a percentage of your chest strength due to the muscle being transected permanently. I cannot due a push up anymore because I simply do not have the strength. I can still do pole fine though.

The extra covering of the fascia made for a much smoother 'upper pole' appearance than my 100% over the muscle implants ... and without the potential implant shifting with muscle flexing that can go along with sub-muscular placement. How would u compare it to overs? Have u had overs? Just cause fascia is very very thin anyway. Does it really even make that Much of a difference?
Actually, I found some old video showing my sub-fascia adjustable saline implants ...
