    Default Wigs

I've been dancing for about 2 years now, and none of the girls I work with wear wigs. It's too hot in TX to keep my hair long or get extensions and I'm about ready to chop it all off. However, I know I make more with long hair... I know there are ladies out there that wear wigs all shift long, pole-tricks and all.. so, mistresses of the faux tresses; how do you keep them on? How do they not annoying you to the point of yanking them off mid-dance? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

If its that hot I don't see how you could really stand a wig. It will probably be even hotter on your head than long hair would.

I wear wigs, specificly Lacefront Wigs. I do so because my natural hair is short and i hate dealing with it. I basically braid my hair in cornrows and wear a wig cap. My Lacefront wigs comes with combs attached on the inside of the wig. With the comes what you do is when you put it on you attach the comb to your hair and that keeps it secured. Thats why when a girl with a good wig goes upside down the wig wont come off. Because it is arrached to her hair. On top of that for extra security i use specail wig tape and tape the wig to my hairline. This adds extra security and makes my Lacefront look more realistic. As for getting hot, my wigs are very breathable and even if i sweat with the combs and adjustable straps my wig aint goin nowhere

Thanks Missy, that actually helps a lot.
I suppose I should have made it clear; long hair is not too hot in an air conditioned club, it's too hot for the rest of my life. In a freezing cold club wearing nothing but a thong and the warmth of my charming smile, the added heat of something secured to my head would probably be quite welcome.
