    Default changing your look

So i've been rocking the same look that i start dancing with. medium length hair, all brown, side bangs i dunno i guess i just really used the fact that i was attractive and it seemed to work for me in the beginning. now i feel like i have to do more. i did read around on here people mentioning that you have to change things up sometimes.

next month i'm taking my first break from dancing. i'm getting my breast aug, thinking about getting tatt'd up changing my hair (adding extentions and color). i'm tired of feeling like plain jane so to speak. like being cute isn't enough i need more. any advice.

i kinda want a pornstar look.

I know exactly how you feel. When I first started dancing, I was bleach blonde, didn't have any visible tattoos, and the only "naughty" piercing that was visible was my one nipple piercing (which got taken out) and I always went with the "school girl" look. Changing clubs now, I really would like to dye my hair black with color stripes, gets some more tattoos and redo my nipples. But I need the money from stripping in order to make all those changes... lol I'm curious how difficult it would be to change looks drastically while still in the same club. Sorry, I don't have much to add - I'm also curious about the answers.

Unless you actually really want tattoos... getting 'tatt'd up' as a means of switching your look up is probably a bad idea. Permanent things shouldn't be done on a whim.
Also... dancing without tattoos = way easier money/easier time getting hired/larger customers base than dancing WITH them.
Tattoos don't HELP your money. Tattoos HURT your money.

Changing hair colors/styles and costume styles or just the music you dance to can all be a drastic, non permanent change. Perhaps you should try something like that before running out to get tattoos for the sake of achieving a 'porn star look'.

If you want to work in a very upscale club, I don't suggest getting tattoos. If you do, make it small, that is again, if you'd ever like to work in a fancy ass place...
Otherwise I think a change in look is refreshing, at least for you and that refreshes your swag

    Duh Re: changing your look

Getting tatted up severely limits your choices, especially with regards to upscale clubs. Also tattoos are permanent. It's not like buying clip in extensions from hot topic that you can remove when you get home.

But hey if you want to get tattoos as a novelty who am I to judge? Almost all of my tattoos have some meaning behind them, only 2 were an impulse decision that is going to be rectified after my surgery.

But none were done for the sake of changing my look for work.

Thanks guys for responding. I've always been into tattoos, but i do see what your talking about. I see certain people with them and they just look so bad it makes you wonder why. You mentioned up scale clubs... Out of curiosity do up scale clubs not have any girls with the mason moore look (pornstar). The upscale clubs here have all type of girls as long as they don't appear raunchy.

The same applies here: there's no club in my area that has only girls with no tattoos. But in many other areas they have very high standards and can be strict about the tattoos. It's true that many customers prefer no tattoos, but as long as they're well done, they aren't necessarily alienating to a large customer base.

No matter how well done your tats are, even if fucking Da Vinci did them a dancer with tattoos will have to work 2x as hard. If you still want to do it go for it. I personally have never minded working harder for my kills.

However may I suggest fake tits if you don't already have them? They do help, er facilitate things and make your job a hell of a lot easier.

I started covering up some of my tattoos at work a couple weeks ago and I'll never go back. I don't think they kept most customers from getting dances, but many would ask me detailed questions about them or go into lengthy explanations of what theirs mean. That adds up to multiple songs a night just wasted on inane, repetitive conversations.

Yeah, I've always been into tattoos too. I realize my post right after yours also came across as wanting them just to change my look. I've actually wanted them for awhile - I just didn't want to get them while I was still at the same club... I didn't want to change my look until I changed clubs so the transition would be easier. But I keep thinking how much harder it will be to make money with them.... it's so sad. I really want them, but I worry about it hurting my money in the clubs...

I'd say only get the tattoos if they really mean something to you, not just to "change your look". If I could I wouldn't have gotten any! I think when I start dancing I am definitely covering up a few. Who the hell wants to see a shitty blowdryer on my ribcage? No one. I was fucking retarded.

on the tattoo note, if its something you want get because tattoos are something forever and can have great meaning to you, dancing is only for a ver small window of time in your life so don't let it be to big of a weigh in on that.

For the rest of the make over I would say go for it as well if you are at a new club, but if you are at one you already have regulars at be prepared to deal with there issues. I had an itch to go totally different a year and a half ago and went from VERY short brown hair to jet black tummy length hair. I had it done professionally and it took two days to do spent almost 4g on it and I LOVED it, it gave me that super hot porn start look, but I soon found out that most of my regs had been attracted to my sweet innocent short hair because it was more uncommon in the strip club and didnt come to see me as often. I did start getting a lot of younger guys though, just not my usual customer base so I really had to adjust my hustle to the new customers I was getting

On the topic of tattoos, I actually would like to know of a good coverup makeup to cover the horrible ones I have. My fingers, hand, and right upper arm are tatted, and they are really awful looking, and I know they hurt my money. Also, my stretch marks, while I am proud that they display I had two wonderful kids, really make me self-conscious, whether I can see them or not. If anyone has any advice on the subject, I would love to know! Thanks!
