Default Anyone familiar with the Bordello shoes and shoe stretchers?

I bought a pair last week and they are too small. IDK why they are...I tried them on in store before purchasing online and the store pair fit! I went back to the store and tried a size up, but they are too big.

I've been trying to sell them all week with no success. Suppose there aren't a lot of ladies with small feet that like the same shoes as me! lol I wanted to avoid returning them because of shipping costs and high return fees.

So I'm wondering if they can be stretched with a shoe stretcher? Just wearing them won't work, because they are so tight I can't stand to keep my foot in them for more than a few minutes!

The material is PU and has cardboard reinforcing the toe and heel (closed toe closed heel). I've never tried stretching shoes with a shoe stretcher. Will it work on these? Or no because they're not leather? I only need 1/8-1/4" more room lengthwise and maybe the same widthwise. Width isn't the problem but I wouldn't mind a little more room. It's the length that is putting marks on my heels and causing great discomfort.

All Bordellos run a little small. Wearing them in my experience is the only way to stretch them. I have several pairs that I adore and I earned each and every one through blisters, pain and blood. They're always worth it!

^YIKES! I believe it! They are so pretty too. I can't find any other low priced heels that are that sexy. And I'm not quite ready to drop 1K on a pair of Louboutin's. Although this pair is driving my crazy, so I may have to start saving...

    This.

Pleaser's Bordello heels are notorious for being small. Pain (wearing them)....or shoe-stretchers (not recommended) are the two ways to break them in.

^Why don't you recommend shoe stretchers?

I wrestled them on again and was able to wear them longer. LOL The left one actually doesn't feel too bad now, but the right one (on my big foot!) is still too tight.

Google search revealed an interesting method for stretching....appearantly you can fill a ziplock baggie with water, put it in the shoe, then put it in the freezer. I guess the water expands enough to stretch them out. Has anyone tried this?

Bc of the material they're made from and depending on the design. (Like my one covered in rhinestones).

If you can put on a pair of slightly thicker socks and wear the shoes with the socks on around the house I find it helps stretch the shoe out a bit.

Not recommended... ice could expand well beyond your foot size and leave you with over-stretched shoes.

Basically - it's very hard to find shoe-stretchers that are angled to fit high heels. Most are flat. You CAN get them - but they are a) expensive - and b) don't do the job as effectively as wearing the heels themselves - which then 'mould' to the contours of your feet.

    No pain, no gain

The ones in the store were probably already broken in. Stick with them! It will take about 2 weeks, or less, but they will be comfortable soon enough.

They're starting to fit! Still too tight to leave the house in, but I think that eventually they'll get there.
