    Default Strip club smelling hair

I know I can't be the only one who gets that strip club smell in her hair after work...lol

and I know it's not good to wash your hair EVERY day.....sooo...is there a product or anything I can do to get the smell outta my hair without washing it every night????

Or is it okay to just wash it every night?? I just always heard you're really not suppose to wash your hair every day....or am I being gross?? lmao

(because I DO wash my hair, just not every day.)

    anyway, any advice I'd appreciate..thanks!!

Tresemee' dry shampoo. It's by the hairspray and looks like a hairspray can. You spray it on and it's almost like a spray powder (no color to it) that goes on your hair, you brush it in and voila'!

I use floral scented Lysol to kill the bacteria from my sweat and the heavy smoke scent.

Wash your hair, just don't shampoo it very often. I usually just use conditioner.

Def wash your hair as little as possible now that its blonde! I use Paul Mitchell super skinny relaxing balm in my hair... it smells like apples... doesn't get rid of smell but masks it I guess...

i'm gonna have to look into that tresemme stuff.

in the past, i've used febreeze. works great for the smell, but not so sure how good it is for hair. at the time, i had some highlights, and it didn't cause any problems, but bleached hair is different.

I wash my hair way too often, I admit. But if I don't have time to properly wash my hair before I take my son to school, I either use dry shampoo or this:

^Doesn't smell wonderful (kind of flowery and has a hint of old-lady to it), but once you wait a minute and brush it out, preferably blasting it with a blowdryer for 10 seconds, the smell is gone (along with the SC smell)

I like Sebastian Dry Clean, it's a pump spray mini. I also have KMS mini freshener, it's a mini aerosol that's harder to use, you can't control it as well as the pump.
How about trying a leave in spray to condition/freshen?
I'm going to try the Tresemme

L'oreal used to make spray for this years ago (I used it all the time cause my dad smoked in the house when I was in HS and I hated smelling like an astray). I wonder why it didn't last.

If I don't wash it every night, then I'd rather not wash it when I wasnt working all night or not doing a whole lot that day in general. I definitely always DO wash it after a night of working! I always scrub myself from head to toe very well after work, feels like I'm washing away the filth of the stripclub. Also I hate that stripclub smell which is the smell of 10000 different types of perfumes and diff BO all blended together (yuck) - there is nothing that would ever make me want to sleep with that smell anywhere on me.

....I use dry shampoo as well (then you don't have to wash your hair after work and your pillow doesn't smell like the club etc).

Have you ever tried the Psssst dry shampoos? They have a few different scents like floral and tropical fruit & I think a few others. The can is so cheap and ugly looking but they're good stuff. I also really like Klorane dry shampoo. I use a lot of their products because they're earthy & natural & nourishing. Also, there's a brand they sell in some drugstores that's dry shampoo for different colors since brunettes & redheads get a white residue if we use too much of the regular stuff. I know Oscar blandi and bumble & bumble do this, but there's a cheaper version they sell at Duane reade.

    Hi Avery!
I was thinking, if something could be put in the hair as a preventative measure..just like they have sun protection stuff for hair.
Anyway, I use a leave in clear henna spray, I think it's kinda protective/finishing for my hair, gives a bit of thickening too.
