Default Virtual Lover Affair... Scam or not?

    Remeber Virtualloveaffair.com ?

Well in the height of this new supportmywish.com scandal ... I was wondering if VLA is a scam.

I am not saying VLA OR SMW is a scam... but lately, all of the newer sites are failing.

Are you jumping on bandwagons...or are you going for what you know?
Be careful ... most small businesses fail within 2-5 years. If you ask me personally, Ive been through it all in this game. No longer can I give new sites the time of day. its usually not worth the time... and they almost always need you to bring in your hard earned customers, when in fact you can send them to your own fucking site.

    bye.

VLA is a joke I think. It's totally just dead and ghost town like. I never heard from ANYONE I ever messaged on that site. EVER.

SMW - I hate to say it, but I think it is a scam. I made my money on there and dipped out. To be honest, I hope those girls get paid but I don't think they will.

I am starting to agree on the new sites and giving them the time of day. I am sticking with what works and reading reviews on what I find.

    love ya CW!

Like I said in the other thread this was posted in....on the SMW thread.

That blog has been up forever. SMW Admin said that was MGF messing with them back when.

But it's been around because I have seen it before.

I think it's just blowing smoke.

Thats the problem with this business.. so many accusations.. so little proof... people have a right to go into business without unfounded accusations being attached to them.. I dont know for real if theyre good or bad... but they have a right to be in business and make a living!

Yep I have seen that too already. I was originally all on the SMW bandwagon in the start but after I was there and say how it worked - I bounced out. There was 3 threads posted of SMW altogether and in the first one that was posted on SW - I was alllll down with it. However, I edited it when I left and had a bad feeling shit was coming down.

It was a lesson I learned before it took a nose dive there. After I left, I couldn't have cared less what happened and I feel for the girls who have yet to be paid for busting their ass to make a buck.

Thanks for the link love! xooxxoxo

I gt ripped by all the girls last year for supporting a studio... yet I made the money I wanted to and was treated professionally. I have never seen these issues with the dancers here. Im knd f in both groups as a former of each but I think the dancers are far less maintenance.

well, there is ONE studio that I am cool with and it's a friend of mine. He is a VERY good friend of mine and I have helped him in many ways to work his shit out so he's not a typical studio. He only has 3 girls working for him and it's very simple. His cuts are great and all the girls are VERY happy.

Plus he has me on call if there is really any problems.

No. That was me that posted that - I did ALOT for admin on SMW.

Promoting was one of them - however when he jumped on VaVa's bandwagon...and he would continually put up with her bullshit and let her degrade the rest of us - I bounced with my money.

Thanks for the eye though hunny! I appreciate you looking out.

Actually, I have tried every site, but I am not on every site. When shit gets bad in one place i do move. But in the beggining I tired ALL the sites out.

I have learned to analyze the sites I work on, and seee what site I can:
    - Follow their rules
    - Make my goal in a set amount of hours
    - Biggest fan following
    - Percentage made from said site.

Like you said to many eggs wont work. It will just break the basket.

I gave up on VLA pretty early and never even set up my profile on SMW. I only fuck with MGF when it comes to those sites. Sure they're nitpicking assholes but they're running the game when it comes to 'fund' type girly sites or whatever you want to call them.

VLA seems to have given up a while back. They haven't bothered to make-ready video uploads for sale or police the angry model blogs for months. Its like they don't even log in, the place is abandoned.

I have $50+ owed to me there that I don't expect to see. I wonder if anyone got paid?

I think this is just a typical issue with low-budget sites - they have little or no funding and can't cover costs of doing business in the beginning, don't have a sound business plan, likely are run by people with little or no business experience, and they fall on their faces quickly. They underestimate costs, project unrealistic early income levels, and before you know it they can't keep up. Their lack of professionalism often shows quickly in the form of defensiveness, argumentativeness, poorly-written text, confusing website design, unanswered questions, answering questions that weren't asked to deflect from the REAL questions, etc.

Unfortunately a lot of the unprofessional symptoms can also be seen on the big sites so it isn't always easy to distinguish a good new site from a bad one. IMO, if it looks like it could've been started on the cheap, and you haven't heard of anyone getting paid from it, it's probably a big risk.

Not to say that a low-budget site can't be good, but it has a much lower chance of surviving those early weeks/months when the expenses keep rolling in but the cashflow is slow. So for me, if it looks cheap it's probably no good.

tessarubyxoxo: somehow i ended up on SW's homepage.... then i clicked on "forums." & i was in fucking narnia.

I applied to VLA almost a month ago. They said you would hear from a moderator in 24 hours, and I have heard nothing. This is the same with MGF, not sure what the hell is up there. I figured VLA was shit, looking at their crappy website, worse than MFC is. Blah.
