Has anybody done the eye lash tinting?
What about the lashes that U put on at the salon that last for a couple weeks?
Did U like either service?

I tint my own lashes - it's illegal at salons in MA. Blue black! I'm yet to have mine permed so I can't vouch for that, however when it comes to extensions, you need to be picky about who does them!
I couldn't find a decent place in New England to get them done as ridiculous as it sounds. New York has all the goods - Korean Spas and lash bars. Le sigh.
All in all I would wholeheartedly say get some lash extensions if you're willing to do a little higher maintenance skincare routine. No oil based makeup remover, no more strip lashes. As far as I understand they aren't too damaging to the lashes intact now, but be mindful to have them touched up in due time and they will look fabulous! I must say I've got a twinge of jealousy for anybody who can wake up looking fabulous.
I've done the lash extensions before and was VERY disappointed. When they start to come off (whenever the actual lash is shed) it gives you a very uneven, spiky look, and they come off all the time...it's not like getting artificial nails filled, where all your nails have grown out more or less the same in a certain period of time. Plus, unless all your lashes are perfectly straight and uniform, the false lashes will jut out in odd directions. And it's total bullshit that "you'll never need mascara again!" No matter how dark the fake lashes are, you will look bizarre with dark eye makeup and then...no mascara. Mascara isn't just about the color, it's also about the definition. And if you ever wear glasses or sunglasses, you'll feel the lashes brushing against the lenses every time you blink, and that always drove me crazy. You also have to be super careful about taking off eye makeup or washing your face. I've spent a TON of money on skincare, and was rather annoyed that I needed to go out and buy yet ANOTHER product to maintain the lashes...and the new makeup remover sucked ass and it took like 10 minutes to get all of my eye makeup off.
Seriously, don't get extensions. My salon gave me the extensions for free after I spent a ton of money on highlights one day, otherwise I would never have got them. And thank god they WERE free, because I would have been pissed if I'd shelled out any cash for them, as much as I despised them.

I had a great experience with eyelash extensions. My last refill lasted 4 weeks! This is mine right this minuteThe only annoying part is getting used to gently taking off makeup and not itching your eyes. My lady takes off ones that have outgrown or twisted when you get refills so at most I have 1 or 2 wonky ones which are not visible. I just like them because I don't wear makeup unless Im going out or working so they are sexy for everyday and when I wake up hubby loves them.

^ also wear glasses everyday mine def don't touch the glasses... My glasses are like an inch away from my eye...

I had mine tinted before, but the lady who did them did a shitty job. The dye smeared on the bottom making it look like I had makeup residue stuck there. It was like that for over a month. I was so mad. I'd do it again though, but with someone who knows wtf they're doing.
I got my eyelashes tinted before, it lasted about 2 weeks, isnt that noticable as it only makes the color darker. Shaping them upwards more your need other such as mascara. It looks good when you wake up though since it looks like you wearing eye make up but for work I need to use mascara either way.
I've never done tinting but I had eyelash extensions for a while. I wouldn't do it again though because I don't think they look natural and they're much more high maintenance than regular false lashes. If I accidentally fell asleep on my face I'd lose a big clump of them, I had to remove my eye makeup carefully with a q tip, a lot of my natural lashes are blonde and since the extensions don't go all the way go the base and I couldn't wear mascara it looked like they were floating, sometimes they would come only half unglued and poke me in the eye and it would pull my real lash out when I removed it.... If I had naturally dark lashes, was fine without wearing eye makeup, and slept on my back they would've been great.

Honestly, I prefer using Latisse over both lash extensions and faux lashes. I already have pretty long lashes, but by using latisse for 2 months now my lashes are as long as faux lashes and increased in thickness. ALL I have to do is coat the shit out of my lashes and it looks the same. It saves so much time and hasle.

Dunno about eyelash tinting, but I do my own permanent lashes with these

And this glue called "Lash BeLong." The glue runs around $30-ish (bought mine on ebay), and the individual lashes are about $4. They stay on for a little over a week. One or two fall off sometimes, but I just touch up with a "cluster" of lashes once in a while and I'm good. When they start growing out too much, you just use lash glue remover and apply new ones.
Been doing this for the last couple months and I love the way it makes my eyes look! : ) There are different sizes of lashes, I always get the ones that are flared and short so they look more natural.

I've wanted to try eyelash extensions but I'm too scared to do it. They cost like $200 & up here and I just can't risk them not coming out how I imagine plus I would want the bottom lashes done & I doubt they would last very long on the bottom. For now I guess I will just stick to my regular fake lashes.
Follow your heart and do what feels right for you, because that’s living. Everything else is dying.

I have white blonde eyelashes and eyebrows, and I've been tinting them myself since I was about 13. It's pretty easy to do, and you can get a home kit for about 7 pounds in the UK.
Don't know about extensions, though. I've been tempted for a while now, but a girl at my club had a horrible experience with them recently, and has to wear false lashes every day now, since she ended up pulling half her natural ones out :/
