Whoa.... you know hwo can probably just give you a "yes" or "no"? Vanessa who is the independent model recruiter for Streamate as she can only work with independent models. Perhaps email her and say youre getting conflicting reports on whether or not youre in a studio on Streamate (and perhaps forward her the emails youre receiving) --- and ask what is going on: modelinquiry at adultwebcammodel dot com . She isnt customer service for Streamate, she can just let you know what her end of the records say? If she says youre not in a studio, definitely make sure your earnings from now on are 35%.... and if SM messed up on their end... I mean it is up to you and I know others have asked but been told it is out of their hands but I know Id be asking about retroactive pay for the 3% lost up until now if it was just an administrative error? (note: Ask SM customer service about this, unfortunately I dont think Vanessa can do anything about that). If you keep getting conflicting reports, people have posted about getting support from liz at streamate dot com for more advanced customer service issues, which "yes youre in a studio for life" "oh no youre not" "well maybe" is definitely one of them since it is impacting your pay by 3%.

Anyone working on webcams.com? How is the traffic? What things I should know about webcams.com (like chargebacks, perks, and etc)? I am looking for an extra income.

Wrong thead, bb.
She couldnt help with an administrative mistake they made? If you gave up that's your prerogative but .... just please ensure youre making 35%. Personally Id suggest you keep pushing but if youre done, youre done. I am sorry this happened.

I can just tell by the responses I am not going to get anywhereand I don't want them to delete my account. 32% is better then 0%... for what it's worth. I just wish I could prove to them that I did not go thru a studio or referral system to sign up... but alas they are bigger it seems.
If youre still making 32% and the say youre independent .... wow. My opinion is dont give up. Seriously? 32% is better than 0%, sure, but youre supposed to be making 35%. That means the 3% is going somewhere to someone that you havent authorized. If youre over this whole process, I can understand why and that is truly your own perspective/discretion on what you need to invest time in, but if they said youre not in a studioand they know youre in the US, you are supposed to be making 35%. If you gross $1500 a week (for example) on SM that is the difference between $525 and $480, Im a miser but that is not an insignificant amount of money, you know what I mean? I also dont want them to randomly suspend your account or something but - idk, man, this is fucked up and Im sorry, I dont what the right answer is for what your resources/time/expectations.

Went thru my emails and browser history. Nowhere did I see anything that says cammodels on it.
This was my first approval email

Thank you,
Streamate Model Support.
This was a few weeks later when I first asked about payout.
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
As an individual performer, you are able to determine your own per minute pricing between .99 and 4.99/min. You earn 35% of what you bill.
Hope this helps! Let me know if we can be of any further assistance.
Do you think if I emailed this to them it would make any difference?

Avoid TouchMeTeaseMe.com like the plague because of a few factors: (I used to be apart of their manager internship program before they axed the program last year. I wanted to learn how to run a physical studio. I spend three months interning for them before leaving because it was too much lying to the models for me and not what I sign up for. Plus they lied about making some money while being a intern)
These are things that they were doing when I was there last year:
1. Too much personal attention: We will tell you that they would like to craft your image into barbie and Ken Dolls.
2. Call you everyday: Ugh!
3. Once they contact the models and put them through training such as what type of sex toys to use...then they start leaving you high and dry.
4. They want you to pay 150 dollars upfront or when you receive your first check.
5. Want you to take very glossy photos and to pay for them.
6. Promise you will become an Icon in the Cam Modeling world![]()
7. Telling each girl that she might become the next Vanessa Del Rio, Jenna Jameson, or Jenna Haze of the Cam World.
Not to many people fell for this but they were trying to get models from Asia, Eastern Europe, and the American ghettos more. Plus people from Latin America but they will never translate papers for them nor did they have translators for many of the Asian models who did not understand English well.

I think you should try whatever you can to restore your original percentage - honestly Ive never read about this happening before so I dont have any specific advice to crack the code except just insist on getting an answer that makes sense for you from every and anyone.. My opinion is one that puts your % to where it shouldve been originally.
Holy shit, what? Wow, thanks for posting this.

I sent that same info in an email to Streamate support and as of yet no response.![]()

Sometimes you have to beat support over the head to get them to actually read your message.
Reply to that message about the "earn 35%" but attach a screenshot of your page where it shows your earnings. Tell them to do the math and explain to you why you are not getting the 35% that they promise.
You may have to keep at it and maybe even type in ALL CAPS to DO THE MATH and ask them what is going on and why they are not giving you 35%.
Maybe take one particular session as an example, write it out as an equation with a viewer screen-name and the minutes he was in, how much they paid you and show that there is 3% missing and ask them where it's going!
It takes a lot to get their attention sometimes unfortunately and you may have to email them screenshots and proof over and over until you happen to get someone who actually will read it.

Thanks… I will try messaging them again...
Stay away from studios. the one I worked with in Vegas only gave 18% and I recently found out from another girl that they took more so I made less then 18. Once you work with them they say 6 monthes till you can work for the site under a new name but he still has a give and has had me suspended from my new account. Beware are of studios. I was always on the 1st page 2nd to 3rd row now with the new name and having to block a state I am in back pages. Determined to get back to first page![]()
Wow! Kind of conflicted here because I'm not sure if this would be a SM thread topic or basically to avoid studios?! (Please don't shoot me!!!!!!!)
YES...I own up to it! I was naive and joined a studio. I did it out of not having the proper equipment at home, and also a way to keep work and home separate since I do have a child. Only AFTER I gave my ID and info was I told that the studio ran thru SM and I wasn't told much else. No site rules explained, no pay rate discussed, nothing. Again, maybe naive on my part, probably a lot naive on my part.
The studio I work for requires a schedule each week, that you work a required number of hours each week, and you're FINED for just about anything and everything. If you're late, it's a fine. If you have to leave early, it's a fine. If by chance you don't make your required hours, you're fined. If you call off it's a fine. I had a doctor's note for leaving early one day and I was told either I make up the hours or I would be fined. It's getting ridiculous. There's girls that do show up to log in on time and many times we can't get a room to work in because someone has stayed over from another shift and refuse to leave.
On top of it it's extremely catty. Managers treat you like crap, and it's acceptable for girls to bully you.
I'm prepared to go out and actually rent equipment so I can strike out on my own, but I do enjoy SM and my regular customers. Is there ANY way SM will let me go from studio to home? I know girls that do work at home, but they won't let them out of the studio contract. IMO if I'm working from home I shouldn't have to pay out that extra percentage just to stay with SM.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!
PS...and again YES I was naive!
If you're in Eastern Europe (which this sounds like), you're pretty much S.O.L. Likely you're locked into a crappy contract flagged in SM's system for a 6 or 12 month lockout. From what I understand, you also can't join as an independent model from certain countries and this includes most of Eastern Europe.
IMLive is the only site that lets American and Eastern Europe models mix in the studios. Streamate won't let me recruit models from non-Western countries at all. I don't know about MFC or Chaturbate yet, but I'll try a test case and see what happens.

Okay so I screwed up by not doing extensive research, can we say I was desperate and overwhelmed by bills? I cammed back in 2009 then took a break after school was done. I went back in 11/2013 because I went back to school and needed extra money for bills. Now I am being stalked online by some scumbag agency Happycammodels.com who won't leave me alone because I terminated the contract due to him violating chaturbate.com policies and skype policies. I asked for 50% because I saw him doing this or I will terminate the contract due to being misled by him (thinking he was legit). Now he is emailing chaturbate.com to get me terminated or under his account so he can start taking 80% of my pay again like he was on streammatemodels.com.
I consulted a lawyer on justanswer.com and he said it is a servitude situation and courts will not enforce it or if he did file a claim against me (im from another state) he would have a very weak claim.
I have informed this person if he contacts me again and it is not his lawyer I will contact law enforcement. This did not scare him off and he continues to email me and threatens to sue me to enforce his contract. A copy of it can be found on happycammodels.com under "forums". I left streammatemodels.com and terminated with him on 01/21/2014 and now he is trying to bind me till 01/21/2016. It is load of crap and I want to know what I can do to get rid of him or go somewhere else he won't bother me.
I am waiting for chaturbate to contact me back because they asked him to see a copy of the signed agreement. I can't believe Chaturbate.com would even entertain the idea. I told them I will leave and no one will get any money off of me then.
Am I screwed or what?
I am new here and I was refereed by London Jones, who will be doing a writeup on this outstanding agency.

I am having the same problem as some girls on here with studios, HELP!!!![]()
was it peach palace?? My picture is up in that studio. Biggest mistake I would of made so much money by my self I learned now I am back to doing my own thing. let me know
No physical studios are bad virtual are better. Peach palace I only made 18% and they had late fees and all kinds of fees
This thread is only about virtual studios - Ive heard that physical ones are very difficult to leave and strictly adhere to the 6-12month "expiration" timeline of contracts and these timelines are especially strict if youre from certain areas of the world.
Also want to add when you join a physical studio you are usually required to sign up for their virtual studio as well (so that payments can be reliably extracted), and that memberships tends to carry over if you start to work from home.
As time goes on the reliable options for how to leave studios have expired -it seems like other options are emerging but they havent been around long enough to attest to their reliability and consistency. So my role at least in these threads are more prevention at this time.
I think it is great youre consulting an attorney, that's awesome - more people in the industry should do exactly that. Theyll be able to give better answers on what your options are and how to proceed.
^Well idk much if anything about physical studios - opinions are divided here from what Ive seen from people who have worked in, worked for, or even operate them. Theyre also more of a need than virtual studios in my opinion (some reasons discussed here: https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...e-my-ignorance) but the line gets blurry if you join one without a pre-existing model account. Really I like this breakdown of why virtual ones should be avoided (https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...virtual-studio) but physical ones have always struck me as a grey area that Im pretty ignorant on so I try not to comment on them, especially as i get why a lot of people join them --- but I do know many do require you sign up for the site through them more for practical reasons; so they can (reliably) get the fees they charge for use of their space?
Hello girls . I joined this forum yesterday and im so sad i didnt find it earlier. Even though i made a little reasearch i signed for a virtual studio. Yeah im one of those girls too. Dont get me wrong im ok with it i knew from the very beginning that the studio receives 35% of what i make but as med student who was on a cross road between quiting school and staying in school it was something. The thing is that the polite owner told me that if i sign up by myself i would get banned or delete after awhile because cam sited doesnt profit as much from independent models as from studios (because studios pay monthly fees ftw) . Im working on cam4 only which according to him was the most profitable camsite. Should i tell him to delete my account and if i do so am i going to be allowed on the site anymore?
Tell him to delete it. Make a new name and go to a different site. Myfreecams.com or chaturbate.com have worked the best for me and pay half. Forget studios!!! Stupid money hungry jerks!
