    Default Hair color and hustle

I recently went from brunette to dark blonde and I've been dumbing it down/ raising my voice/ etc. My closing times have been quicker and customers seem less interested in conversation which is awesome. The only thing I never anticipated is that there are generally two kinds of reactions to my lighter hair -- either they think I'm super slutty or super innocent. I'm trying to figure out ways to play up either perception depending on the custome in a way that I don't have to commit to one persona or another. Any advice would be appreciated.

Also wondering: For those of you who have danced with more than one hair color, have you noticed that your hustle changes along with it?

My hair has gradually become lighter blonde, but I've improved as a hustler in the same time scale. I don't play the dumb blonde card. Or slutty blonde for that matter. I get requested across the room more as a blonde.

Be what you're comfortable with. You know you can be innocent walkin around the club, then in the dance room, change it up, let them know your not someone to be taken advantage of. That's always a surprise.

My friend acts like a dumb blonde and she's black. lol It cracks me up, but it works! She's always coming over to me like, "I just got 4 dances from this guy, but I have to go to this other table. Get over there, just talk to him like you're a fucking blonde or something!"

No, sis. Sorry. I just don't have it in me.

I think I'm doing better blonde now too.
I'm not acting dumb or changing my personality....just more so the way I look.

Like, more glamorous now. Curly hair, nails done, stockings....and I've been doing realllly great at my new club.

It could also be because I'm the ONLY blonde there.
Either way, I think it's helped my money and not make me look like the "token rocker girl"...(which wasn't getting me anywhere out here..lol)

I've danced with different hair colors, and haven't noticed a huge change in earnings. I have noticed a shift in the type of customer who comes up to ME though. Like, I get asked more by men from India for dances, whereas before, I'd have to hustle them, but now they ask me.

I've noticed I do better as a blonde, but I think it's simply because it suits me more. My hustle hasn't really changed but it changes multiple times per shift depending on the vibe I get from customers. If you start off as a ditz you can make it slutty or innocent depending on what you think they want.

Sometimes I act super-ditzy blonde just for the lolz.

I can't go blonde. Tried it before and I just look like a dark complected brunette with fake blonde hair. Not just that but my hair started having problems. I've found that I generally have to stick with dark hair.

i had every haircolour these two years i danced with.
blonde worked for me at the dive [as one of the only attractive ones, and there were hardly any blondes there anyway], but not at the blonde club because i dont have a 'blonde' personality and get really agitated when people kept implying in conversation that im dumb just coz im blonde. also i have a really innocent face anyway so the blonde just made that more angelic and i had to concentrate a lot more to come across bad and slutty otherwise guys were just like aww youre too cute/nice/sweet for me to buy a dance blah blah.

then i had dark red which i think was the best. i was more vixen-y and cheeky and they loved it. i was also crazy colour red, like manic panic red. my money kinda suffered a bit coz all the suits got scared but the young guys still paid.

now im brunette and i think it fits me very well. i havent worked out changes in my hustle yet as its only recent i might go for sultry and sexy.

depends on your personality and whatever suits you and the club youre in really.

I think it's what looks best on you. I have olive skin and would look like an idiot with blonde hair. Also some girls look better than others as a blonde. But blonde hair looks amazing in blacklight club. I got more compliments on my blue black hair than brown. I think extreme colors look amazing in the club(bleach blonde, blue black, bright red, pink)

I dye my hair blond. It is much easier to hide some gray If I dye my natural hair, brunette, I have to do it much more often. Everyone knows I'm not a blond in the club and that has some advantages. I find for every guy that likes me as a brunette there is a guy that like me as a blond. I'm not sure one is better than the other but some clubs I work blonde's are more popular for sure

I have been dying my hair ash blonde for the past year because I thought it would make me more money. I realized it simply didn't work for me. I just went back to my natural dark hair color, and I feel much more comfortable/sexy, and hustling seems easier.
I think it depends on the lady.

I've danced in medium brown with hightlights, auburn, darkest brown(looks almost black). I do best with darkest brown. I get more compliments & my green eyes look brighter...so I make more with that color.

My hair is red, though I dye it a lot (my version of changing my nail-polish color, I guess). I just dyed it dark brown so no idea how it will effect my earnings. In TX, my club is full of dark-haired brunettes and blondes blondes blondes... so, my red (kind of a coppery mid-red) made me stand out like crazy. Guys would walk up and ask me for dances, men paid me to talk to them about theology and the stock market... I wasn't sure before dancing, but now I know... lots of men seem crazy for redheads.
