Default Problem with stretch marks ;(

Hey guys.. I am 4 foot 11, and most of my teen years I weighed in around 200lbs, so you can imagine what that looked like...

Over the course of the last year, I lost much of that weight and I'm down to 120lbs, but I have a major stretch mark issue going on all over my body

I had a rude guy point it out to me on cam saying it was disgusting a few mins ago. It kinda upset me that it shows up (HD encoder, etc).

Does anyone have suggestions on how to hide them, make them go away, or how to deal with rude customers who point them out?

    Thanks guys.

    Some people say dermablend works.

    Congrats on your weight loss.

    Congratulations on your weight loss!

I'm looking for the pics I posted awhile ago with my stretch marks and then covering them.

I just use normal face makeup and powder. Try some concealer.

Dermablend is awesome, I just don't have an ULTA close by to me.
but my normal Covergirl liquid works great too.

If I can find the pics I took for another girl, I'll show you.

Just mess around with your make up though, concealers, bronzers, etc...you can conceal them.

I've read about coconut oil working well. I got some for lube purposes and have been rubbing it all over recently. my boobs keep going up down up down and have ugly marks all over.

I don't have these, but I also heard around here that pink light bulbs are good for evening out skin and hiding them.

_Avery_ that would be awesome. I would love to see before and after pics. I have stretch marks on my stomach I don't like them but I accept them. I had 2 kids so it was against my will lol.

I have never tried to cover them, but I would like to see how others do, for pointers. It would be greatly appreciated!

I have HUGE boobs. When I was a teen my doctor told me if I slept in bras, I would not have a problem with them sagging much, or stretch marks. I took his advise and they are firm and no stretch marks after breast feeding 2 kids

I don't sleep in them everyday, but most days I do. Wireless bras

Yeah you can try concealer. There is something called "BioOil" that is supposed to work - one of my friends uses it and she likes it. I don't have personal experience with it.

Try not to take it personally though. Honestly a lot of people have stretchmarks. I definitely do! No one's ever made a comment to me about it though!

try adjusting the contrast on your cam or playing with the color settings, set the right way blemishes and stretch marks disappear.

Mederma is good. But I have a C sec too so I sport a triangle. No one complains but some comment. It is what it is.

I couldn't find the other ones, but I just took these ones.
(I have 2 kids too, but I just look at them as 'baby's first artwork') LOL

I just use some Loreal Age perfection cream (that I found at a yard sale..lol), but I think it's like $10 at Wal Mart, brush it over my stretch marks and then use some powder I got at the dollar store on top. (I sound cheap..lol, but it works good enough).

I know they're not completely invisible, but they're a lot harder to see.

Definitely can't see them on cam or in the club.

(and please excuse the mark from my underwear..lol)

You could try chemical peels. Do research first if you decide to go with it. I think Glycolic acid or TCA peels would work.

I personally think Bio Oil is junk. All it is mostly is mineral oil which is bad for your skin because its a man-made oil. I used it on my face for scars and it broke me out because it was clogging my pores. But to me, Chemical Peels are a really unknown but great thing for skin. I would definitely try them!

Use Cocobutter daily, and get some vitamin E lotion at the drug store (you can get a big, generic tub of it for like $3 at WalGreens/CVS/Shoppers if I remember properly). rub it in routinely

For hiding them ASAP, Fake tanner with Vitamin E in it, applied every night, also tends to make them fade away to nothingness. I wear Jergens Natural Glow Revitalizing. I'm fair skinned, but I buy the stuff that's meant for medium to dark skin tones.

Stretch marks are a PITA, hope you find something that works soon! Good luck!

That's terrible that some asshole pointed that out. Honestly, I think he is a jerk and you shouldn't let it bother you. Those marks are a part of who you are. I have terrible stretch marks from child bearing, so I know how you feel. But I eventually became comfortable with my body, flaws and curves. I have many many regulars and they have never complained. If some jerk has a problem with it, he can move on to the next girl. They may not be attractive to some, but I'm not going to cover them up. I have learned that the ones who throw off on simple human flaws, generally have an unhealthy and unrealistic standard of women. It is always those men who are dirt ugly at age 40 and still living at home with his mama, yet he can't understand why LOL. Be proud of what you have and don't let some low life who can't get laid drag you down.

I have really bad stretchmarks on my boobs from my first kid when I had like no boobs. They are silver now but still very obvious but I haven't ever had anybody say anything to me. I have implants now so not sure if it makes them worse or better but I am currently pregnant with baby #3 so it comes with the territory. I would just tell anybody who said anything that if you don't like it, don't fucking look and get the fuck out of here I have them on my ass and thighs too but none on my stomach (yet!).

Did you use it on newer marks or older ones? I wouldn't mind trying this on mine, but they are old, and so I'm not sure if it would do the trick.

Bio-oil didn't work on my old stretch marks; I heard bio-oil does great on new ones though.

Thanks Leah, I am thinking about trying it anyway. I read that sometimes you have to use it for up to 6 months before it will fully re-texturize older scar tissue. Out of curiosity, how long did you use it?

i used it along with a cocobutter cream, for about 2 months. Perhaps i should give it a go again and try that 6 month test to see if it works. I also heard vitamin E oil works well.

You have to consistently use Bio-oil twice a day in order to get the results you want.
