    Angry In the meantime >:-(

    I can't work out for 4 fucking weeks! I don't want to become a charter member of the FPA!!! What the hell do I do in the absence of exercising???? I want to be looking fucking fabo by the time I get back to work next month! ( I know some weight gain is inevitable, but I want to keep the resemblance to Shamu to a minimum)

    Heavily restrict calories but make sure u take a vitamin so it doesnt affect healing.

    ^Maybe not so much with heavily restricting calories. I would say more low-carb/low-glycemic diet. It isn't too hard to deal with and you won't be starving yourself. You can walk, Tempest! I know it doesn't do much, but it keeps you in the "I am working out" state of mind. Don't starve yourself.

    Just check with your surgeon I was not allowed to even walk far distances for 6wks. Nothing that raised the heart rate at all.

    Do stretches (which will actually help tone). I think it'll also really help with loosening up all muscles in the body and faster healing. I was going to recommend some light workout dvds, but on second thought, you probably don't want to risk it. Try eating low carb, low sodium in the meantime.

    what about walking sloooooowly. For long distances? Maybe go out to a nice park when its not so hot out. Green lane park is pretty, or longwood gardens. I dont know why you think you will gain weight. You might not....just try to eat healthy, and try to get out of the house a little. Plus...any weight you gain you will loose real fast when you dance again, AND no one will notice any extra pudge bc they will be staring at your big ol titties!

    Thanks everyone. so far it's been daily walks to wawa, eating either grilled fish or chicken with brown rice or veggies, actually cleaning the house, little things like camille said.

    restricting calories might slow your healing, though eating might be hard if you're nauseous and constipated.

    little things, calf raises (slowly) while you're watching tv, pacing around while you're on the phone. stop once you feel your heartrate increasing but eat good food and rest and take your zinc. there is an old thread we made when we were all bored post-op and didn't know how to spend time and i listed all the vitamins i was taking and had no bruising or swelling.

    also, embrace lifetime movies. i'm really excited to see your after pics =)
