I'm curious to know about how much weight the average girl loses once she starts dancing.
When I started back in 2003 I think I weight 122, and went down to about 107 pretty quickly. But, this was also around the same time I switched from OTC birth control pills to Yasmin, so that may have factored in to the weight loss. I'm planning to come out of "retirement" this week, and currently weigh 128, and am absolutely hating it. I hope I can get to 118 fairly quickly, but I'm older now (27), and losing isn't as easy as it used to be.
Did you lose weight after you started dancing? If so, how much?

I have a boyish, flat-as-a-pancake bum, but all the squatting and gyrating is giving it a nicer shape, i think. I've only been dancing for 3 months, and while my weight has stayed about the same, I like the changes working has made to my body
