Branching out
So, I have been very fortunate since I have started camming...and I am thinking about making my own site in the future. I know I have much more potential in me, and I NEED to break away from this studio I blindly accepted to work for. All my customers said they would love for me to have my own site. I will be making an email address and twitter in the near future, so then can keep up with me while I get the ball rolling on this potential site deal. My questions are, will Streamate and my studio ban me if I give out this info to them? How do you guys give out your info to your customers? I am still a noob, so it will be a while before I get anything going. But I don't want to lose my regulars in the meantime. I have had some of my regs give me their email addresses already. I just want to take the right approach to this, and do things the correct way. Also, I have tried searching on here how to make a good site, but i couldn't really find anything, except the fact that GoDaddy was a big no-no. Any pointers? I'd appreciate any help I can get.

Re: Branching out
If you can get them to your twitter then you can advertise all your other places from there including the website. You can put in your cam site signature "find me on twitter - (name)", but don't link it, just have them do a google search. You can write on the back of your hand or a board behind you when you're on cam, and you can also tell them via msn/ skype shows or personal emails. Just be sure to check your cam site terms of service/ rules before doing any of this because if they specify that method is not allowed, you might lose your account!! So far I've been using the signature thing with no probs x
