I'm beginning to learn that age seems irrelevant as long as one is a good hustler. I've seen both extremes on the age scale that appeal to everyone in the club.

Hmmm... I've been dancing since I was 18 and I'm 27 now (we've passed the 9 year mark). I'm honest about my age - I'm usually guessed at 19 or 20, sometimes 22 or so. And honestly, my age speaks for me - although alot more people ask if I'm married or have kids.
And honestly, with the women that I've known while growing up in this business, I think that 18 is too young. Not in a judgemental way, but that you don't really know yourself yet. You have so much more time to grow on your own and gain your own strength. It's much easier for the job to form you at a younger age. But you totally won't see that til your older. Age is experience, and while us strippers age in dog years experience-wise, we don't exactly see much of the normal world.
(Prepares for throat ripping =\ )

What I am seeing is that some of the younger dancers lack respect for the older dancers who do have this experience and wisdom. Instead of trying to tear an older dancer down maybe u should be nice and maybe one day she willthe only one who will be able to save ur ass and if u made her an enemy u will be fucked. There is alot to be learned from someone with more experience.
I'm not gonna rip your throat lmao although as the op of the thread I do think if everyone wants to talk about 18 being to young it should be started on its own thread just because it irritates me when I go searching for info and all I find is bull shit. I will say, everyone is going to believe what they want to believe, me personally age is just a number I have seen idiots of all ages and I think were all on the same level nobody knows everything or where everyone has been. And age doesn't equal automatic experience or respect. Im not to far off from 18 and I'm not going to pretend I know everything but I do know me and I haven't been shocked/scarred/suprised by anything about dancing other than the price of stripper shoes. Idk for me its not such a magical world. Honestly adult life is a wider version of high-school that's just simply in denial of what it id.

I would say this is about 75% of the 'older' dancer I've met...with old meaning over the age of 40.
The other 25% have been amazingly intelligent, fit, money-making machines, who were actually very good to me as a younger dancer and gave me pointers.
Two older dancers are coming into my mind right now whom I liked very much as co-workers and still 'look up' to. I miss them.
I started dancing at 18, at 18 I would tell guys I was 19/20. Now I tell guys Im either 20 - 22. 22 Seems to be ideal age. I tend to go with what guys guess what my age is and just agree.

That is unfortunate to hear. Idk how every older dancer can fit into the category of "all of the older dancers", but I suppose you are speaking of your own experience around them. Some of the girls who are actually older than me do well and some nights better than me. And some of them have 2-6 years on me. I dont hear them bitching in the dressing room about how badly they r doing.

Its nice to hear that you missed these older dancers who you say you "looked up to" thats very endearing and sweet.
I do think everyone's idea of older is different. In my area 30 and above is considered older which shouldnt be the case. To me 40 and above is older for a dancer but the normal standard for older dancer seems to be 30 and above which I dont agree with.

Wow, this is interesting. In my club, most of the girls are younger. I'm (along w/ a handful of other girls in there late 20s) are considered the older ones. There are only 2 other dancers that are older than that even. I work w/ a very young group. Interesting.

Im 29... I still get IDed all the time and legal drinking age is 18 here. Just got IDed fri at a football game. LOL
If the guy is young Ill probably say 23-24
Close to my age up to about 50 - tell the truth
50+ usually say 24-26
grandpa old - 80+ - say 19 (fucking old perverts love it)
Also if the guy is just not confident and might be intimidated by me Ill say younger than I am. But if they seem like someone who likes a smart woman or a "lady" Ill tell the truth.

I can't count how many times I just turned 40! Everyone loves a birthday !

SOOOO true! They're just at that age where they don't give a fuck anymore and figure it could be the last pussy they ever see, so it might as well be a fresh one.
Old pervy grandpa's crack me up.
Yer doin' it wrong - once you hit 40 you go backwards.![]()

OMG yes and if you are mid-20's and above it almost ALWAYS means they are asking because they know you aren't a spring chicken, they just want to make sure you aren't well done! I hate that....like slyly trying to pretend it's just conversation or curiosity? HELLOOOO curiosity comes from a question in your mind, a question you have about whether I am of quality or not? really? stop asking questions!
I have great skin but my partial italian lineage has always dictated that I have a bit of a hollow under my eyes. Not tired or old I swear I looked this way at 12.
I'm 27 in november but haven't really danced since 24. SO I'll say 28 since I plan to pick it up again at some point.![]()

Most of the dancers where I use to work at were late 20's up to 40'ish.
This one girl I know who is 40 looks like she is in her late 20's and has a better body than most of the 21 yr olds who love to chug on high calorie drinks.
Age shouldn't matter if you have a body that looks like it's built for sex. That's what men want to see. Take care of your body/health & you can stretch it out for as long as possible.
I'm 30 & I never lie about my age. I'm proud of it.
Aslinn I know what you mean about other girls calling you "sweetie" haha. I'm 29 but I look about 22. This other dancer was being a bitch to me one day because I talked to "her" customer and said, oh aren't you such a little sweetie. I just laughed inside because I'm certain I'm at least 3 years older than her.
Guys who are very young I will tell them I'm 22. Guys who are in their mid 20's to 30's I say 24. Everyone over 40 I'll tell them I'm 29 because they actually like a girl who's a little bit older (older than 18 I mean...I'm certainly not calling anyone old!).

I'm 23. Some people think I look younger, some think I look older.

Most of the top earners at my second club are the cougars. Mid 30's to early 40's, tight toned bodies, fake tits, its usually Cougartown.
