    Default Bidding Wars

So here's what happened to me last night.... I walked out on the floor, everybody was staring at me. It was busy, there weren't many girls. I immediately went on stage, guys were coming up tipping left and right. One guy tipped me $20, then came to the next stage and tipped me another $20. As I walked to the third stage, a different guy stopped me and asked me how much to buy me off the rotation and go back to VIP right then and there. I told him I just had two more songs, and I would come by as soon as I was done. Well, the $20 guy saw this and came to the third stage, tipped me another $20, and told me to come by when I was done and we would go to VIP. He told me not to bother with that other guy who had stopped me, he would do at least two hours and buy whatever bottle I wanted, he wanted to hurry and snag me before someone else did. So, he stopped a waitress and told her to get me off stage now, and I walked off stage and went right back to VIP, where I stayed the rest of the night with this guy. Basically he was like, fuck that other guy, I will spend more money than him. I ended up walking with $1500 after three hours, and didn't dance at all or even take my dress off the first hour. I love these ones!

My question is, how do you girls handle it when you are in high demand and everyone is trying to get you, and are almost fighting over you coming to their table. What's a good strategy to handle this? It seemed to really work out in my favor last night when I made sure $20 guy knew that the other random guy was trying to take me to VIP when I was done with stage, but this might not work out too well on a different customer. I had A LOT of baller businessmen tipping me on stage, and I know with most of those you have to slow play the VIP sale, in my experience. You can't just go in for the kill within five minutes of meeting them..... or can you? I feel like I have to mind fuck a guy for a good twenty minutes at LEAST before he drops exorbitant amounts on me. Yeah, it's easy to get a string of dances, but I'm talking about $1000 or more. Soooo many guys were asking me to come over when I was done, I'm wondering if I should've been like, "well guy A over there wants to take me to VIP for an hour, can you beat that?" or how should I go about weeding out the ones who wouldn't spend a lot?

I had a similar situation recently.
I was sitting with an old man who was boring the hell out of me, and my boss was making signals to me to free myself up for a group of big spenders that were about to come in.
I was trying to politely excuse myself from the guy and must have come across as a bit insulted by what he was saying (it was the whole 'you don't belong here' conversation) so he offered to buy me whatever bottle I wanted. I said Cristal. he said that was fine, but he wanted a cigarette first.
So while he was smoking, despite my protests 'But he's about to buy me Cristal!!' by boss dragged me over to the other group and introduced me. They were in the process of buying a 1hr VIP for each of them and the same number of dancers.
My Cristal guy came back in and asked my boss why I was with them. My boss explained they were buying an hour VIP.
I got called back to the old guy and as promised, he bought Cristal. he then bought a second bottle and an hour VIP.
Then the group asked my boss why I disappeared, and he explained that the old man wanted to spend more money on me.
My boss tried to take the credit, saying the old guy only bought that much to prove that he could, after he made him jealous by sending me to the others. Bullshit. he was already about to buy the fucking Cristal.

This feels like a rather long brag, and not so much a helpful post...

It seems like you didn't have much time to play them off of one another because the customer asked that you be taken off stage and go straight to VIP.

Had you had the chance I would've told customer A that the other guy had offered you x to keep you in VIP all night (make up a large number) and asked him if he would beat it. If the other customer was clearly begging for your time it would be believable.

I'm a bitch, when I have situations like that I tell both guys to hold on while I talk to each of them, and then I go with whoever is offering more money. When I was new I would fuck up and do a 15 minute VIP when I had a lot more money waiting at a different table, because the 15 minute VIP customer pulled my arm as I got off stage. Now, no way. I'll tell them to piss off unless they can beat the other guy's offer by $100.
If you are willing to do for one year what other's won't, you can spend a lifetime doing what other's cant.

girl, this always pays off. people are shockingly loyal. they won't forget the time you grabbed them and said, "hey, come to vip with me".

it is important to get along with coworkers!
