Default Dancers and managers/owners. How would you feel?

This is going to be a somewhat long story, so bare with me.

I've been friends with this girl for awhile now and I went into my fav club about 2 months ago and saw her working there, naturally she was embarrassed but we had a talk and told her i didn't think any less of her or anything and we've been friends still since then.

Turns out she'd been leading a bouncer on so she could get rides home and perks at the club like not getting checked for alcohol and leaving early. She finally ended leading him on and they got into an argument so she called me for her ride home from the club that night, so I did.

Since then, that bouncers always given me dirty looks and stays by where I'm sitting with my friends. I'm assuming this is to try to catch me doing something to get a reason to kick me out. I frequent this club a lot and spend a lot of money there, when I'm there I talk to the girls, make small talk, tip on stage and get private dances and I'm respectful at all times and not an asshole, which is why some of the girls will end up talking to me for free for about 10 minutes at a time but then naturally they have to go try to make money off customers.

Here's the main part of the question. My friend had me pick her up for her break, she just wanted to get out for awhile before she had to go back. I'm 20 but she wanted to go to a 21+ club real quick to get a few drinks before she went back. She knew one of the bouncers there so he let me in and I didnt drink at all since i was driving. She didn't get wasted or anything, just a drink or two. I dropped her off and I was on my merry way back to hangout at my friends place.

Come to last night. My friends are all out of town for another friends wedding and I couldn't go because of work. So I ended up going to the club alone looking to get a few privates and talk to some of the girls then get out of there. I paid my cover, got my "minor" wristband and went in. I started scoping out who was working and I noticed 2 of my favorite dancers, but not my friend was there. So I'm about to go talk to one and that bouncer that doesnt like me brought up that I went to that 21+ club and I say I did, I'm not gonna lie about it. He says "well I know you're a minor and I know the owner of that club and that doesn't sit well with me" and I say back "uh okay.." and then he asks me to leave the club. I'm not going to argue with him, so I leave peacefully, thinking in my head that i shouldn't be getting kicked out for something that happened at a totally unrelated club.

I was literally in there only 30 seconds before I got "kicked out" so naturally I try to get my cover back, I'm a regular so the girl at the cash register likes me and knows who I am, so i tell her the story and ask for my cover back and she's about to give it to me then the bouncer comes out and makes her not give me my cover back and throws me out again. I was so angry, but I ended up going to the clubs main competitor across town and spent my money there.

So the question here is, dancers and management, how would you feel if a bouncer you hired kicks out a regular customer who spends a lot of money at the establishment because of personal and unrelated reasons? The saddest part is that the girls lost out on money and it was dead when I was in there, only about 4 customers there at the time. If you heard this happened at your club would you take action against the bouncer? or would you simply not care?

My friend says she's going to talk to them about it tonight when she goes in to work but I told her not to argue and possibly lose her job over me, I'd feel horrible.

Sorry this story was so long but I wanted to give all of the details so you could understand why it probably happened.

I know this is more of a personal story but the main question at the end is what I'm wondering about.

the bouncer would be looking for another job for worrying about his friends club over his own responsibilities

and this is something i have to add into my clubs guidelines so thanks for bringing the issue in light

I'm just a customer and a rather mild mannered non confrontational customer at that but if I got that kind of attitude and problems from a bouncer I'd be asking to talk to a manager or owner. At this point it doesn't really involve your dancer friend, she's just back story. He's causing you problems. Problems that he can't really justify to management unless he lies, which he probably will.

It IS a shithole but it's the club closest to me. But now I think it's worth driving farther to the bigger, nicer club that I won't get kicked out of. ha

This is too much drama. Why don't you just go to another strip club? Who gives a fuck. Or better yet, meet a real girl that you can have a chance with and not spend so much money on dances and cover charge, and overpriced juice/soda(since you cant even have a real drink yet). I just dont get REALLY young guys that are strip club regulars(unless your very socially awkward). A one night out with the boys is one thing, but cmon get out and get laid for free while you still have a chance honey!! With a girl who likes you for you and not your wallet

You can call during the daytime and ask to talk to the manager. Relay the information, and if you're a valuable customer, the manager can at least hear your side of the story-- tell it just like you told it here, and say you don't appreciate it. you'd rather keep going to his club but if the bouncer is going to act like that, and the manager backs him up, then you'll just have to go find another club.

How old are these people?? This sounds like a bunch of stupid middle school dramarama. Just take your money elsewhere and forget it. You can find other dancer "friends" to hang out with and buy dances from. There is absolutely no point thinking so much about something so utterly unimportant. Who gives a fuck if they don't want you or your money at one club?? You and your money will be welcomed at another. Now go forth and have fun!

I asked my husband and he emphatically stated he'd fire the bouncer. Call and talk to the manager.

Call and talk to the manager. He probably already has gotten complaints or has suspicions about this guy.

I can't speak for all clubs, so it does vary on the situation and club itself. For example; my bouncers would never be able to make that kind of decision without us (management) knowing about it. But like others have already stated, that is already too much drama involved for a strip club. It's easier for you to just go somewhere else, if you really want to continue your business at this specific club then another option would be to call the club and speak to a manager about the situation. If you're a good customer that hasn't caused issues and spent money, then I don't see why they would tell you otherwise. Good luck!
