    Default Collagen Bed (Sunbed)

I saw this on the tanning shops website http://www1.alisun.nl/index.php?pagi...&contentid=383

    THE COLLAGEN SUNBED:

For Pure and Timeless Beauty at The Tanning Shop!

    Collagen sunbed Benefits:

Building up a healthy collagen network.
    Visible anti-aging effect.
    Reduction of lines and wrinkles.
    Boosting skin cell regeneration.
Re-tightens the skin (helps prevent cellulite).
    Improvement of oxygen intake.
Renewal of collagen and elastic fibers.
Activation of the skin’s mineral metabolism.
Helps to make the skin smooth and fresh.
No negative side effects or harm.
    No pain.

So apparantly it's an anti aging lie down machine - anyone tried it ?

I can't find much information about it - I think I'll buy a course and report back on it.

I use the Evis md red light device which is handheld and available on amazon.com. Red light is amazing and my eshetician was who turned me onto the device. It's time consuming but very well worth it. She said the anti ageing tanning beds are new and hard to find but to def make use of them. According to her red light is the new big thing in anti aging for those not ready to do lasers or surgical procedures. Red light builds collagen, reduces lines, takes away tired looking skin, at least in my experience.

The site doesn't say whether the collagen is from human cadavers or animal carcasses. I'm not sure which would bother me less. Surely other people are creeped out by this?

^ Me too... the lights stimulate your body to produce your own collagen... right?

Yay! an aussie distributor. I've heard that this type of light is good for wound healing (like a BA scar).

Okay, I feel silly now. I was imagining lying in goo while getting a tan. Something like the pink stuff in the second Ghostbusters. What's wrong with me?

Is there any negative to it like too much can be a bad thing with the red lamps?

I got to try a free session for the red light bed at my tanning salon, when they got one several months back. It was like a stand up with a vibrating floor, and the light was so incredibly bright I felt like I was at a rave (I was also blasting my ipod with dance music though). No noticeable effects after one use, so generally pointless to just do as a one time thing...but the membership was too expensive for me to justify when I didn't know for sure that it created miracles.
