    Question Changing hair

    Alright since my FB poll is split and my SO doesn't care....
    I NEED YOU LADIES!

    Which color {not cut} should i do....
    A) Go a lighter natural red
    B) Keep current color, get highlights
    C) Go a unnatural bright red

    This is how i look now. My hair is auburn in most lights, dark in others...
    {My oh so sexy rusty blonde roots...ugh! They look grey!}

    I think with your skin coloring A would look fabulous. (or perhaps B also, with a bit more highlighting than that pic).

    I say three..... I love dark hair.....

    On a side note, I think you should consider reshaping your eyebrows, I think that would make a dramatic difference in your look as well.

    My hair is between the 2nd and 3rd options and in the dark of the club it's always mistaken for a chestnut color... go lighter, you've got the complexion :0)

    Go for A, maybe C. Also, get your brows re-shaped.

    I'm in the minority here, but I'd say C. Not TOO bright, but like a Lindsay Lohan circa Mean Girls red. The others look too orange. Red is really in right now, and I know a lot of men who have a redhead fetish.

    A it is!
    I actually will be cutting my hair A's style too.
    This friday is my appointment.

    Thank you ladies!!!!

    And ouch on the eyebrow thing.
    I actually have a bad habit of shaving them. But my SO picks on me about it so i'm trying to "grow them back". I literally only have the hair of the main part over my eyes and not the thin gradual part. That's drawn on and i fill them in. So yeah....

    How would i "reshape" them anyway?

    I draw mine it, too. When you're drawing them in, you should draw more or less along the top of the line your hair would theoretically grow in. Like, draw in what you'd leave after plucking (since you should only pluck from the bottom)...

    But that's just in the mean time since you're growing them back in. Once you've suffered through that awkward stage... you're best off just let them grow in fully (excepting complete strays) and go into a professional and have her shape them for you. After that it's really easy to maintain.

    Yeah, I have to echo going to a professional, preferably threading, and letting her reshape them. I wouldn't touch them at all.

    Not trying to be mean, just wanted to point out something major that would really make a dramatic improvement, IMHO, on your look you are going for.

    I know you guys weren't trying to be mean. I was just like "omg, what? Really? Are they THAT bad/noticable/etc?". I have no female friends so this stuff never comes up. No one tells me this stuff. Thank heavens for you gals!

    {I could have caveman eyebrows and no hair and my SO would be fine...damn him! He's letting me go out looking like a mess.}

    I'll have to wait until there a little more grown in to get them shaped. Like i said i have barely any outer arch, but it is coming in slowly.
    I'll ask my hair girl if she does them.

    You guys are awesome, even when it stings....

    ^Yeah but that really depends on your brows and your skill with your brows.
    For about 90% of DIYers out there... I'd advise they stay the fuck away from the top of their brow... but if you know what you're doing and there's something that needs evened out or stray hairs on the top, it's definitely alright.

    It's just like how longer hairs in brows need trimmed to keep things tidy... but I'd never tell someone who is new at it to try, lol.

    I agree with bringonthemen on the eyebrow thing.. I get complemented on mine all the time and I just pluck them myself. I figured out that if I do a slight slant at the insides of the brows, pluck a small slant above the brow to the top of the arch (and the little weird strays beneath), and pluck a tiny bit under the arch to the end, I get those sex-pot 40's brows and hardly ever have to pluck them. Just a little touch up now and then... so find the shape you think would look the best with your face.
    Also, I think you'd look great with side-swept bangs :0)
