Default Thinking of wearing wigs..strange, i know

I have dark hair, cut in a bob just above my shoulders. Some guys absolutely love it, as do I, because its unique and suits my personality, I think. BUT I have a hard time appealing to the majority of men, I.e the ones who love blondes with big tits. I've been blonde before, but I don't really want to make the commitment of bleached hair again. Soooo...I'm thinking of trying a wig. Lol

Hey, if it works, I can buy several and change it up depending on the demographic of customers that night! I'm not commited to a regular right now, but if I was, i'd probably use the wig he liked best. Anyone else tried this? Any tips for preventing accidental slip-off?

That's all I wear are wigs and weaves. I don't know why that would be strange. All you need to hold down your hair is a stocking cap and buy a GOOD quality blond wig. No one would know the difference. I know a girl at my job who buys synthetic lace fronts but she doesn't glue them down, she just places clips in her hair. If you go online, you would be able to find a plethora of options.

I guess I tend to stick to myself a little bit, so i'd never heard of anyone really wearing a wig in the club. Surprise to me, but hey, I think it's creative and awesome. Also glad to hear a good blonde wig will cover dark hair

Getting a wig to look natural is hard. Your hair is short, so if you buy a good wig cap then you shouldn't have a problem with the 'wig bulge' - all of your natural hair bulging at the back of your wig, making it look noticeably unnatural. What you will have a problem with is blending the wig hair in with your natural hair just around your hairline that often the wig won't completely cover. Wearing the wig low down enough on your head to cover the small patches of hair around your temples/ears is a major fake hair red-flag.

What I've done in the past is pull all my darker hair back into the cap, and then all around the hairline use a blonde hair mascara, so if the wig doesn't cover everything perfectly, it will blend seamlessly from your natural hair to your wig-hair. You might have to apply a couple coats. Then once the blonde/pink/blue/whatever wig is on, shadow around your hairline with a powder a little darker than your natural colour. Wearing a headband helps it look more natural.

Eyebrows of a blonde aren't super light, they're usually just a medium brown, so don't bother lightening them unless they're really dark. If they are very dark, foundation over them, then a light brown eye shadow applied well should work.

You can use bobby pins to keep it in place, but if it's a good wig it shouldn't slip off. The more you wear it, the more the 'newness sheen' will wear off and the more natural it will look.

That's all the tips I got. Good luck!

It will if you wrap your hair the right way it shouldnt be an issue. The girl at my job who wears the blond hair, i don't have pics of. If you go the route of getting a human hair wig which is natural in all aspects, you can bleach it, just like real hair. There is a woman on youtube who I watch all the time and her name is muffinismylover. She has tons of wig reviews.

Im african american so I either braid my hair or wrap my hair before I put on a wig cap. Wrapping, is brushing your hair in a circular motion and then put the cap on. You can always add your own clips to your wig to get a more secure fit. You can buy clips from sallys, they arent that expensive.
