Apart from the house fee, I know there is a tip out. I hit Vegas a few times a year and with so many girls circulating, it must be hard for hosts\bouncers to track each dance? If so, what is the cut and is there a mandatory cut in vip?

Why? I don't get questions like this. You're a CUSTOMER. Go get your dances, pay the girls, drink some alcohol and have a good time. Why bother yourself with trifles? Unless you want to get into the industry yourself.

Yes many clubs take a cut of dances and VIP. However each clubs cut will vary.

This is the forum to ask. And it is a relevant question. I have been asked numerous times to "help" the dancer out with these added costs. Of course I don't expect to pay for them as I undrrstand a lap dance fee is "all inclusive". What I am trying to understand is how it motivates others such as bouncers and hosts to take care of the customer or if added tip to these hosts in VIP provided added benefit.
Thanks for the replies

You've been asked to help in what capacity exactly? Tipping the dancer? It's a hustle. Plus, you should be doing that anyway.

Totally! What do you think this is? Some kind of online discussion forum, where customers are encouraged to ask dancers questions, for a wide variety of reasons, ranging from general curiosity to pointed purposes like wanting to get into the industry themselves, especially a forum in which questions can be asked that may not be fully appropriate in the actual strip club setting? Why? Clubs in Vegas don't take a cut from dances on the floor. They also don't technically have to take a cut from the booth/VIP, but they will seek a tipout from the girl right before or after her time is done. Floor hosts/bouncers remember this because its money and they are greedy, lazy pieces of shit who want to get paid $200 for simply making an introduction.
Housefee is usually a flat fee, which goes up as the evening progresses. Its lower earlier in the evening to encourage girls to come in when its less busy. Not all clubs do the sliding scale though.
In most clubs that don't take a cut of dances, their is a tipout and the rates vary, but the dancer is usually told when she starts. Its either a dollar amount of percentage ; this goes to DJ, bouncers, sometimes waitresses or the bar, and is generally pooled at the beginning or ends of shift.
Believe me...the people who have their hands out to get paid are going to go after their money.
But again, don't worry about Vegas, they don't take a dance cut. They have a flat house fee, then you tip the DJ, they usually want ~15%, then the bouncers/hosts extort additional money from the girls when they hook them up with VIP/booths/rooms, etc...

I have been asked to pay host tips. I get it now- a hustle. I also get that different clubs and different markets have different rules and tip etiquette. I should have been specific in my opening post. I have no qualms about tipping a dancer, but I have a problem with having to tip the host on the dancer's behalf. A while ago, I was lead to believe that tipping a VIP host was for my benefit, to which host always grateful for, but was sceptical as to whether is was really for the dancer. I don't do it anymore and I've since stopped taking dances from those who ask for me to tip the host for them. I honestly don't get the impressions that the host cared where it came from.
I do tip dancers and go extended sessions if they sell me on their service, but immediately pass if they asked me to tip others.
Sucks that hosts get the tip for the intro. I never trust them and prefer to develop the relationship on my own. Last trip out, the host tried twice, but I held off. I found a dancer later (he was holding my booth), and later he said he could have saved me the trouble cause the dancer I picked was on his list.
Thanks for clarifying, all.

Hosts expect a tip from both the customer AND the dancer. If the dancer doesn't get the custy to tip, the host will expect both of his cuts from the dancer. It's not really a hustle, and yes, I would always ask the custy to chip in for the hosts fee. Then I would add an additional $20-50 + to a good host, depending on various factors. If the cust didn't chip in, I'd be liable for $50-100 and even MORE from there, depending on the host. So if I got $400 for an hour VIP, he would want $100 if the cust didn't tip. That's 25% to him and he didn't do JACK SHIT, not even brought us drinks.
Also, in some Vegas clubs, the waitresses expect extra tips from the custy and sometimes the dancer, when they serve in VIP.
So, you meet a dancer, take her for a test drive on the floor, she is awesome so you go for a 30 minute VIP. She asks you to throw an extra 20 piece to the host, and you would just drop her and seek someone new because she asked? Sheesh man, that's pretty silly.

I actually have paid out a lot of tips to hosts for the dancer. It depends on how much her hustle permeated the session. When I was a noob, was hustled so hard for multiple girls, tipping the host and then tipping the dancer. It almost felt as though the entire session felt like I was sending of off the hustle. Almost upfront, it was as If I, the customer, was asked to payed $600 for a $400 hr + the bottle. I know it is more service than distressing, but waitresses don't make a cut of the menu.
I have tipped the host for the dancer. It depends on how good her service was. If she provided great service with no mention of hustle (I committed 1-2hrs), I would tip the host for her. It's more pleasant. Afterall, wouldn't you consider it funny if waitresses asked for 20% everything? Because I pretty much choose the "right" dancer for vip/cr, I tip without her asking. I was just unclear as to who was expecting tips and from whom in the clubs. Since that has always asked hosts to take care of me,I never felt the pressure expectation to tip so many since Encounters 3-4 a night that introduces themselves to me.
Apparently, its different in each area. Vegas is my main stomping grounds 2-3 times a year when I'm in town
