I feel like my look is blahh. I need some input on how to stripperfy my my look. Here are a few pics of me one with my hair undone, one with it done and just a plain pic of my face no makeup. Any input would be greatly appreciated, I dont think I am at my full potential makeup and hair wise. Oh and Im trying to grow my hair out. thanks

I say wigs and rockabilly so the studs are less of an issue.

Something sexy, sultry and smoky but still bad-ass and effortless. Something like:

I would definately go with extensions. I would color your hair an almond color with honey low lights. and definately some Ann hathaway bangs.

Extensions won't work on hair that short. I say super glam to offset the short hair and bleach your hair to platinum. I love your short hair, but it isn't strippery. I've been there!

Clean up the eyebrows and darken them with an angled brush and a mix of black and a greyish brown powder (I'd rec 1 dab of MAC Carbon and 3 dabs of MAC Omega, blow off excess) fill in in a somewhat rounded shape.

A medium mauve eyeshadow on the lid, with a deeper purple color in the crease, and mix in a bit of black with the deeper color, put on outter V of eye.

Slightly winged dark, not black but almost, liner on top lid, getting thinner as you get toward the inner corner of eyes, and on the outer 1/4 of lower lid, smudged. Lots of DARK BLACK mascara- I rec L'Oreal Voluminous in carbon.

A soft almost pastel pink blush, and glossy lipstick in a similar shade.

The eyebrows and really doing up the lashes will make a world of difference. If you don't do anything else, do those two things.

And I agree with the haircolor suggestions from Missingthe$$$ above

Thanks ladies for the input. Fawn, thats a lot of makeup talk for me, lol maybe I need to go to get a consult at a at Clinique or something, wish we had a MAC here, but I live in a small town. Another question, are extensions expensive? I dont have a lot of money to burn would a longer hair wig be beter? can those be cut and styled?

Oh and as far as the makeup I wear now its jsut one of those walmart things that is supposed to bring out brown eyes and some lipstick. I need to become a lot better with working with makeup and my look. thanks girls

Best stripper make-up ever: Urban Decay, bareMinerals foundation, dermablend for bruises/tattoo mistakes/birthmarks. A lot of girls get cheaper stuff since they go through it, but the better stuff lasts longer and makes you feel fabulous. Plus, I've been using the urban decay eye-shadow palette for 3 years.

Can you post a pic of your finished work look?

Do you have a friend/housemom/makeup artist who can do your eyes/brows for you?

I don't recommend using extensions on short hair. Order a couple of super-glam wigs.

Even small steps like shaping your eyebrows or wearing fake lashes can make a dramatic impact. Good luck!

Well that is pretty much my work look, sometimes I wear lipstick, thats about it. I dont know anyone that could do my makeup/brows. Ihave an appointment at a MAC close to where I dance, so we will see how that turns out. I bet I could go to where I get my hair cut and they could do my eyebrows for me.

What are the best kind of wigs? I know nothing about wigs, but we have a wig store here in town, no idea what they have thoguh.

Since you don't currently have long hair. A wig is definitely going to be a lot easier for you.
Just make sure you follow it's care instructions.
Most wigs can be cut/styled if they're real hair, yes.

You definitely need to go in and have your eyebrows cleaned up... and you can always youtube videos of makeup and practice practice practice.

Makeupgeek on youtube has great videos and how to's; also makeupalley.com is a great place to research what brands/products are worth while. Also they have a forum where you can ask questions. Go blond for a stripperific look, but with the dark hair and dark eyes you could do the sultry, punky- girl the dragon tattoo look ( if that makes sense. ) Just play up what feels good to you.

I can't quite tell with the lighting, but it looks like whatever foundation or powder you're wearing doesn't quite match your skin tone, especially on your nose. I would recommend getting a new powder or foundation, and I would recommend getting a nicer department store brand. The problem with drugstore brands is that even if they're decent quality, you often can't open the compacts in the store to test them on your skin to see if they match. I used to have a major problem with this when I was younger, because I'm naturally really pale and pale skin isn't very forgiving when the colors aren't exact. I started getting better brands and didn't have that problem anymore. Go somewhere that has a makeup counter and get someone to help you find a product that really matches your skin tone, and that has good lasting power.

I agree with FiendishGyrator, too; I think the rockabilly look would work for you really well. I also suggest getting some fake lashes. Initially get a couple of cheap pairs to practice putting them on, because it does take a bit of practice to do it right.

If you fill in your eyebrows properly that can make a huge difference. That's the first thing I noticed, your brows.

Going to jump in and echo a lot of advice given here as well as post some links I found in relation to the query. Seconded on shaping and filling the brows. They really do make all the difference in the world.

This is a simple smokey eye. You really can't go wrong with it as far as a basic makeup look. It's very easy to amp up or tone down depending on what you're wearing it for. Don't worry so much about products, focus more on technique and colors that compliment your skintone. From the makeup pic you posted, I'd say you want a deeper brown so that it's pronounced in dim lighting.

As for hair, a wig is always a safe bet. It doesn't have to be expensive, but make sure it's not "costume quality". Also, having someone shape it to your face will make it look more natural. Like the ones I'm about to post, too full and too long, but with some tweaking, they can be very glamorous.

You should definately apply "liquid liner' on your lids. It will make them pop. Also remember to use alot of boby pins when applying a wig. I've seen a girl audition and her wig came off. It was not a good look.

Thanks ladies fro the advice and links, I will definately chack them out. As for my work makeup pics, I'm not wearing any foundation or powder on my face just eye shadow. I was thinking of going with kind of a rocker chick look or maybe a bit of a gothy look. I have a lot of tatts, one runs down my spine.

I think wigs should always be cut/thinned/styled, they usually have too much hair, thus looking 'wiggy'.
You have great lips/skin. How about a brighter lipstick, & some glowy highlighter on face/cheekbones.

wig clips like the ones on clip in extensions sewn into your wig (if you go that route) will drastically decrease your chance of wig slippage. when i first started dancing i had about 5 inch long hair...and just tousled it. i was a little insecure about it, and tried a wig, it was a human hair one with the adjustable band things. it flew off on stage (oddly only one person noticed) was pretty funny. and the next day i sewed clips into it and it never flew off again.

also i second what has been said about doing a really glamorous eye makeup, dark liner, fake lashes etc. also i really recommend lip stain. its much more low maintenance than reapplying lip stick all night
