Miso soup is awesome. Have you tried it with mussels? <---gives it wonderful flavor.

I love miso soup. I always get it whenever I go to a Chinese restaurant.
Oh no. Now I want miso soup ! I seriously could eat(drink?) this everyday.

I loooooooooooooove miso soup. I discovered it in Japan and miss it so much. It is a great diet though, I'm gonna go buy some tomorrow![]()

Yes, I love it also. I used to go to a Japanese restaurant quite a bit, but the one in my area closed. I love Japanese food. Usually I get the dehydrated version in the packet, but I'm going to try making it, & thank you for that link. I also love hot & sour soup. Good luck w/your diet

oh noo...you brought back my miso soup obsession!! Seriously me and my SO eat sushi all the time & my favorite part of going for sushi is the miso soup!! LOL. I was wondering how to make it myself....now time to hunt lmao

Dr. Oz always talks about it. He loves it and says it is elemental in weight loss because it keeps you feeling full or something. I have never tried it but I am about to. What does it taste like...other than miso
? I mean is it bitter, tangy, sweet, etc.?

miso soup weight loss fad? i didnt know sophie marie was back?

Oh boy here comes the support team ready to high five for telling me off! Okies!
I said weight loss fad becuZ u mentioned intentions to eat it every day to lose weight. There's nothing wrong with eating it as a side/app along with other foods, as it is quite delicious, but eating it alone doesn't provide enough calories and well rounded nutrients. JMHO.
Sophie Marie was a girl on SW who always talked about living off miso soup and fiji water
Fresh onions, some scallions, fresch ginger and fresh garlic bulbs simmered in it - yum. Great detox potion - also solid uh intimacy repellent.
jk I drink it a few times a week - buy it in bulk, Im trying to cut it down due to (unsupported) concerns over the sodium content. Love it. The days I do drink it I find I tend to graze on snacks less. it may be a self-fulfilling prophecy issue or miso isust awesome (aka light protein = sensation of being full). Ill go w/ the latter

I LOVE LOVE miso soup. Never thought of making it tho.

First chance...I am going to try it.

Try sliced fresh jalapenos in it. Or even some kale

I like to make mine strong, Yellow or Red Miso, not White so much...
And I like to add Wakami (or however it is spelled) sea weed which is supposed to help keep you thin. But it is a habit I need to get back into and I think I will go make myself some right now.
Also.. for those who don't know you can buy it in a tub at a natural food place and you should heat the water to boiling and then add the Miso after removing it from heat so as to avoid killing the beneficial bacteria in the Miso paste. I also like to add some chili paste which is also supposed to help with weight loss.
Cheers

I'm lazy, so I have the dehydrated kind, but it sounds great, the tub or whatever! I used to eat Japanese food pretty much daily, til my lil' fav restaurant closed

I made a big pot full of miso w/ spinach, green onions, udon noodles, zucchini, celery, jalepino, spicy kimchi, & lemon juice. Yum yum!
