Hi there, sorry to but in... I too am in the UK and have a Payoneer card and basically have just used it at the ATM machines (& sometimes as a Debit/point of sale card) ---- however you say you can use their Global Banking for a direct transfer, however do you know if, once you add a bank account does it automatically transfer your funds into your nominated bank account? (I think it says on their website it does it when you have about 50 dollars.. or maybe credits)................................. anyway reason I ask/enquire is....... I would like to be able to have the choice of transferring some funds to my bank account and also keeping some funds on the card.. so I can use it like a debit card kinda thing....... I was going to add my bank details online but then when I read their terms and conditions it looked like once I do that, that any funds (over a certain amount) will then AUTOMATICALLY by them be sent to my nominated bank account... i..e, I dont have to transfer them, Payoneer does it automatically.

Am I reading that right? Any info/advice would be appreciated.

Stay away from nationwide re us cheques - they kept me waiting 3 months, only to tell me they could no longer cash USD cheques under $200 (after previously cashing many just fine). They sent the cheque back and I had to wait a further 2 months to get my money from the site (niteflirt) while they got their act together.

I now only use US sites that work with daily pay - next day payment into your bank for a 5% charge!

I have the card for one Payoneer partner and the global transfer for another. You can't use the card and the transfer for the same site...the global transfers are paid automatically but you can have money on your card from the site that it is linked to.

Thanks Katy... never thought of that... having 2 payoneer cards...that's a brill idea... but how to execute it!... I got mine through AW... so if I wanted a 2nd one would I have to apply via another camming site (say if I joined SM for exmaple)? OR... can I apply for one independently i.e., by myself?

That said would Payoneer allow 2 cards for the same card holder.. as I have mine in my real name and I dont think you can apply with a 'fake' name (as such.. as I recall having to provide ID etc).... so am assuming they allow folk to have more than 1 card then...... also I assume you mean you have one from 2 different sites you work from... because there isnt the option on AW (I don't think) to have payment processing method with Payoneer TWICE.. i.e., 2 cards... .. sorry about the thousand questions! (and all the 'assumes'.. not been to bed yet!).

Sorry Katy I mis-read, (am bleary eyed) you already answered the question re having the card for one Payoneer partner and one for another.. Doh.... so obviously Payoneer allow two card applications for one person without any issue?

I only have one card with one site, for the other site I have global bank transfer. You can only have global bank transfer for one site (I think), but you can have a card for more than one site.

    You only get one card.
Some sites offer payment to card, some offer global transfer, some offer both.
Global bank transfer is by far the best option as it only costs me $3 per payment versus the multitude of fees that come with the card.
Most of my sites are hooked up to global transfer.
Some girls have never had a card and just use global.
Each time you join a new site and choose Payoneer you'll be asked to put in info if you already have a Payoneer account.

I'm in the UK and use Payoneer. I don't take cash from it, I use it to pay in store and online. The only problem I ever have is that a store cannot find a pen for me to sign!

I use a business bank account for payments from individuals but all my camsite payments go to Payoneer...for one thing, it's much quicker.

Aaah thanks everyone, that makes things a lot clearer now. Initially I thought in order to have global transfer and to use the Payoneer card like a debit car I would have to have 2 cards, but I just have one and if I sign up with SM for example I guess I choose Payoneer but the Global Transfer side of it, as oppose to getting another card. Thanks again for clarifying.

OK, I am astonished. I received my first cheque from SM on the same day I received a cheque from AW. I went to Barclays on Monday (13th) to bank them.

The USD cheque from SM has CLEARED. That is less than 2 days for it to get to Head Office (that's where all the foreign cheques go to be processed) and for the GBP funds to enter my account!! Meanwhile the GBP cheque from AW is still sitting there in limbo in my account waiting for next Monday to come so it can finish clearing.

    :-O

Blimey, that's quick. How much did Barclays charge in the end?

Any reason you don't just get a transfer from AW? Cheques are such fafffff

My C4S cheques clear the next day with Barclays and they charge £9. I have the direct transfer from AW.

Ooh, I didn't think to look, but I received more than I thought it would be. I'll check later.

I normally do the AW transfer, but money is tighter than tight at the mo, and AW is sloooooow so I don't usually hit the 150 credits each week. Heck, some weeks it's a struggle to hit 50 creds for the cheque request! I'll go back to transfers as soon as things straighten out/earnings go up.

^^I'm such a dunce, I didn't realise the payout for cheques was lower. And here was me, disappointed at not hitting 150 last week. *headdesk* Glad I asked now!

Since this post, I have a nice new PC and am earning again at SM - but Barclays have decided to take their time clearing the USD checks now. 5 weeks for one and 4 weeks for another, neither have cleared yet and Barclays are telling me it's AT LEAST 6 weeks clearance. Yet the local branch clerk told me that if I've already had one clear from that company, it shouldn't be taking anywhere near as long as 6 weeks

Annoying, I don't want to have to start faffing about with other transfer facilities and paying even more in fees.

Natwest about £5 charge upto $1000

Clears in about 10 days. Just a few questions about why I cash so many USA checks but not had a problem yet

I never use sites that pay cheque to UK anymore it's far too long to wait and there's just no excuse for it. Pick sites where you can get daily pay or payoneer. I hate the card but after a tip on here about using the cashback option in supermarkets it's OK. Many sites can now do global transfer to your bank with payoneer (mfc and mgf can) x

That's interesting, thanks. How do you do the accounting for the Payoneer charges? Doesn't it get confusing?

I guess this is a case of suck it and see...
