Visiting family in CA, everyone is on this home fermented foods kick. I've been basically living off of Kefir, Sauerkraut, and Miso Daikon for a week! (And I actually feel pretty fucking good!)
Gonna start fermenting my own foods when I get home.
To drink:
Coffee with Stevia
Cultured sugar cane/lime/chlorophyll juice
~1 1/2 liters of water (shooting for more)
Breakfast:
Egg white crepe with ham, mushrooms and spinach (went out)
Lunch:
Sauerkraut and Pickled/Fermented beets mashed up with an Avocado, with Trader Joe's organic blue tortilla corn chips
Fresh organic blueberries and strawberries from the Farmer's Market
Dinner:
Tilapia with a cucumber/tomato salsa and homemade baba ganoush & pinto beans soaked in apple cider vinegar water and cooked in bone broth. (It was a weird mixture of foods)
Also at some point throughout the day had a spoonful of Nutella (so like 100 calories of processed crap, oops), sampled a bunch of almonds/almond butters/tapenades from the Farmer's Market, and stole a couple bites of my brother's PB & J.

I thought this thread was just to say what we eat, not critic each other/

^ Thats why I used 'I' language.
If it was criticism wouldn't I have said, for example; "Dancer A you eat to much sugar/starch/whatever".
I believe I can post aloud reflections on my own limits of certain food groups.

yesterday:
Breakfast: half grapefruit, sliced banana w/ cool whip, small cup dark chocolate almond milk
Lunch: Spinach salad, 1 piece pre cooked bacon, leftover sliced chicken breast (about 4 or 5 slices) , banana peppers, dill pickle slices, red and orange bell pepper slices, cucumber slices, grape tomatoes .no dressing this time. clementine
Dinner: crockpot made pork loin cooked with onion, pepper, carrots, celery, can reduced mushroom soup, fresh green beans, fresh mushrooms, few pieces bell peppers, and a corn on cob when that wasn't in crockpot. I sprayed it with butter flavored cooking spray and sprinkled some sea salt on it. Shot of apple cider vinegar.
Snack: 2 pb cookies

Today so far:
Breakfast : half grapefruit, banana coolwhip ( crushed 1/4 of graham cracker on top, and omg it tasted so fucking good, like a banana cream pie) !!!, small cup of dark chocolate almond milk.
Lunch: can of campbells healthy request chicken noodle soup , a piece of leftover pork loin and few veggies from that. A clementine a few minutes ago for a snack.
For dinner I am making a spinach salad and banana with cool whip for dessert

I mainly try not eat bread or too much fat during the week. Bread makes me swell up and feel like shit. I try eat citrus stuff with lots of acids thinking it helps burn fat and keep yeast out of my stomach and same with vinegar. I like your diet but I don't know what a lot of you eat is lol . I looked at couple things you made up on google and might try sometime. I just make easy stuff pretty much and keep it basic, because I really dislike cooking.
Ehhh the sugar in citrus fruits like oranges sort of outweigh the benefits of the acid, when it comes to yeast. The ACV is good though! And lemon juice is still good for Candida.I've been on a long journey to eradicate candida and fix leaky gut, but I haven't committed 100% to it yet (As evidenced by my spoonful of Nutella yesterday!).
I think once I'm done with vacation and have worked for a month or two, I'll take two weeks off and do a serious candida cleanse. My doctor ran blood work on me and found over 3% of the fungal phase in my blood! I'll just confine myself to my house for two weeks, write and drink veggie broth. Lol.

citrus fruit keep my stomach flat, my face not oily, and also a clementine has only 40 calories and vitamin c. Citrus fruit is not fat food. What kind of snacks do you eat? I would rather have a no-fat acid-y food for the above mentioned benefits , how much sugars could be in a 40 calories? It works for me. My goal is to stay toned eat healthy during the week. I have been eating same foods a real long time and don't get sick of them and have not become flabby o body irritated. The only thing that does that is heavy food and bread and grease. I do consume on weekends because they taste good.

^ Sugar in your system will 'turn to fat' and also fails the satiety test- so you are more likely to reach for more food (than your body nutritionally requires).
2 Books I love that have made so much sense and changed the way my husband and I view food & the food industry (as insidious as the tobacco industry), the nutritional guidelines promoted by governement (Australia and USA follow the traditional food pyramid).
