Whenever I hear brown rice and vegetables I always think of that shocking movie, Showgirls.
Ooh, reading this and am tempted to treat myself to sushi tonight! But have lots of fresh veg that needs eating in the fridge. Might just go snack on some corn on the cob now and grab a bento box tonight![]()

I've been making gazpacho lately. Super quick if you just blend everything up together (rather than dicing everything and leaving the soup partially chunky). It doesn't get much healthier than this! Green smoothies have also been a big thing over the last couple of weeks. Costco has incredible deals on organic greens (spinach, power green mix, or baby kale for like $3/pound). For two servings, I use three ripe bananas, a few giant handfuls of greens, and water (process the solids together first before adding water until desired consistency). What an easy way to get your greens!

Yesterday: Breakfast: 2x coffee, fruit, Lunch: Too much chicken chilli, brown rice, salad w/cheese and light sour cream, Dinner: 2x turkey sausage, boiled sweet potato, w/ homemade tomato and onion relish, Snacks: Nuts, fruit, green tea.
Today: Brunch: 2x coffee, 1x peach, berries. Post workout snack: Quest protein bar (chocolate brownie flavour), activated nuts, Dinner: Vegetable stir-fry, green tea.
