    Default Hi! im new :) + a vent :/

    hello forum

wow i just saw the stats for views and camming forum beats them all with a whopping 59 viewers vs the 20ish of clubbing related ones.
    ugh!!!

i wouldnt be too wrong if i said that the future of stripping is def in camming.

i just got home from the club and im so sore from the shoes, the booty shaking and sick of guys grabbing and try to sneak in the gstring. let alone givin the owners a quarter of my dances money.
    FML!

so im seriously thinking to try this out.

    that site myfreecam seems trafficky
or maybe should i try go with a studio?
what would u say the major cons are to work for studio vs home?

    thank you all

    Hi, welcome to the forums.

With a physical studio the biggest negative is you have to give away some earnings, possible privacy issues if the studio is a half ass run one so be sure to try and find a professional one.

You have to get to the place, alot of people enjoy not having to leave the house for work etc.

Physical studios get the thumbs up in general.

Web studios get a massive thumbs down as they have next to no advantages at all.

If your able to, cam from home on streamate, myfreecams and adultwork to start you off.

    Welcome
Have you done a search on the forums? This question has been answered quite a few times, but I would advise you to skip on the TV cam and purchase the Logitech 9000 for $100 less, and save your money for a camera with pan/tilt/zoom later down the line if you plan on being serious with your camming. The 9000 is very simple to use and tweak, forgiving in low light settings, and generally flattering overall.

Logitech is the best way to go really, I use the Logitech orbit. All of the cam models on here including me are going to tell you NOT to work for a studio. Why have someone else take your money, when you can sign up through the site directly and keep more of your money. Myfreecams is awesome, I do well on there. You also get paid more on that site, then any of the other cam sites. Streamates I haven't done well on it ever, and a lot of models lately seem to be having shitty days on there. I haven't tried adultwork but definitely give MFC a go and sign up for a second site as back up just in case. Good luck!

    Thank u sweetsam!
Well I was reading about certain studios that pay u a flat fee of 1k a week if u work 8 hrs a day

I also thot they have better lights better HD setup and they connect u with plenty of sites at the same time...

I don't think the future of stripping is in camming, but I feel like more opportunities will open in the future with new technology. Stripping is still, by far, MUCH easier than camming and more lucrative in a lot of areas than camming. Camming, you literally work hard for every little cent you make. Then there's a lot of behind-the-scenes work that must be done like: marketing, advertising, graphic design, blogging/tweeting, building and running a site, responding to messages/emails & emailing, editing pics and videos, protecting your name and your content, etc. A lot of work goes into it, so it isn't "easy" money at all. That being sad, I left dancing for camming due to health reasons and scheduling issues primarily. I consider myself very entrepreneurial with a strong interest in business, marketing, and graphic design, so its a better fit for me. You just have to do whats best for yourself.

Physical studios are hard to find. It just depends what you're more comfortable with or if you're even able to cam at home or want to. Some studios boast promotion and preferred placement, but there's always a price for being part of a studio. It just depends what you think is worth it. Camming is ALL trial and error.

hi Gr thanks for yr post

to me stripping is not easy but i guess depends on personality,,
used to be great before 2008 cuz money was pouring but now is like pulling teeth, some cities worse than others.

ur right about all the behind the scene work related to camming but i was amazed the other day looking at this little asian chick on mfc gettin showered w tokens by the second..just by doin a little dance and flashin boobs while she had no twitter no videos for sale no pvt show pricing no gallery not a thing!
    and she was banking...
while other models with alot of promotional pages things for sale etc who were doing stellar stuff showing everything fully and spending alot of energy but their rooms were lame w one small tip every 15 mins.

Cam customers are fickle, just like men everywhere. You never can guess which one of the models will be doing well and which won't because men have such odd taste.

    Ur right friendly

however I noticed that some girls look bored and just sit there and stare in silence and there is a wooshing sound coming from speakers very annoying

I can almost see tumbleweeds in those rooms :/
