Sad anyone have depression too? :/

i can't even get myself out of bed or go a single day without random crying outbursts about different things- I think about everything wrong I just can't stop and cry.. I don't know what's wrong with me. I have periods where I am fine then a week or even two where I can barely function. I fight with my boyfriend every day and want to be alone I can hardly work because I'm so emotional.

idk whats wrong with me I can't seem to get my shit together
does anyone else do this what do you do to actually feel better?

I'm sorry that you are going through this. Have you been to see a professional about this? Because if you haven't, then they might be able to help or at least proscribe something for you that might help x

I have been experiencing a lot of dark depression lately.

For me I think it is because I was never very smart and I have spent my life making poor decisions. Then again part of it may be the way my body/brain is functioning right now. But I also know I need to make some major life changes though I doubt my ability to succeed in that.

Been there several times for a very long time. I avoided the mediaction and tried all of the alternatives- therapy, alternative medicines, spiritual counselling- everything.. Finally after more than 10 years of cycling through what you've been going through (barely functioning crying at nothing etc) and then a month or two of of "no I'm Ok now" I finally got my stupid ass off to the doctor.
He put me on antidepressants for a year, they took a good 5 months to kick in where I actually felt normal , I mean really normal. I hadn't felt normal for all that time although I thought the non-crying/zombie periods were normal they weren't. Knowing how badly I wanted to get off the endless cycle (and the doctor said if I got the depression again after a year of meds I'd have to try 2 years and if that didn't work it would be permanant- the whole reason for putting it off was because I hate any sort of drugs and wanted to "snap out of it" on my own) I avoided the temptation to go off them because I felt fine. I continued until the doctor said I could wean off them. Been nearly a year of feeling normal. It's great.
I strongly recommend not being stupid and wasting a huge chunk of your life in zombie mode (I can't remember years of my life from depression) get yourself to the doctor and onto meds, get some counselling (and don't be afraid to change counsellors if they aren't doing it for you- I got more out of 2 sessions with a student coucellor at Uni than 12 months with a professiona)l , A good counsellor will help you with cognitive work to assist you with making changes to your thinking. I tend to stress over stupid stuff, I put waaay too much pressure on myself to be great at everything I do (I think you may be a bit that way from your comments) and I always plan for worst case scenarios.

JUst add- depression you are describing is the clinical depression- as in the chemicals in your brain have gone out of kilter. What the drugs do is boost that proiduction until your body kicks itself back into motion and can do it itself. You wouldn't have a problem taking iron tablets if you had an iron deficiency or diabetes medication if your insulin was off whack so it is no different.
You may have to try a few different meds until you find the right one also. You may feel nausious at first but if you still feel sick or dorky or light headed after a few weeks go back to the doctor it is probably the wrong one for you.
