Company was full of people 3 times my age trying to fund their crack habits anyway.
Then, my second to last vanilla job I had, the GM actually made it a habit to chastise people in the electronic notes that went out to everyone's computers. Like the way the system was set up, he would have different tasks designated to different teams, but he would call people out and "scold them" on certain things instead of addressing them privately. There is no reason people in ads needs to know what's going on with someone in phones and vice versa. Office was only run by 10-15 people max anyway. There were days where people would come up to me and tell me "hey, check out this note. I think it's addressing you" and it's like wtf? The hell is wrong with people in management positions nowadays? Just because the economy is bad doesn't mean you get to be an asshole.
