Thumbs up Solution: If you want to contour/shape your waist!

A trick I learned from some dancers in Houston, Texas to get that itty bitty shapely waist!

    1. Rub regular lotion , collagen, OR anti-cellulite cream around your tummy, lovehandles/Hips, and back. Make sure to rub on the lotion very THICK.

    2. Take some seran wrap (Cling-Wrap in the best) and wrap your whole midsection. Be sure to suck in your stomach whilst you wrap so that it is very tight.

    3. Buy one of those waist cinchers/shapers from Walmart, Sears, or Dilliards and put it around your stomach over the wrap. This will make you tighter and give your more "shape" while your skin sweats under the wrap.

    - A training corset is the best to use for wrap, but even with a regular body shaper, make sure that you go down in size over time.

    4. Wear your wrap while you are working out, I.E. (Walking on the treadmill, or any light activity) or even wear your wrap while you are asleep.

    5. You will see definite shape/form after three weeks of consecutively wearing your wrap.

This technique has worked (and has been working) for me! It is a whole lot better than buying expensive body wraps from spas, and more effective than wearing a training corset alone.

Feel free to ask any questions.

when I was younger, I used to do something like this.

It would reduce my waist about 3-6 centimeters in about twelve days.

    Thanks for reminding me.

Great Idea! Combine that regimen with a colon cleanser and you're good to go!

After I had my daughter I continued to pop vitamin E gel pills and rub them all over the above mentioned areas. I wore a corset at all times, I only took it off to shower. My belly was flat again in less than 3 weeks. To be fair and honest I went into labor at only 6 months so I didn't get too big to begin with, but I still think it was very helpful, especially when eating because it would keep me from pigging out.

Very interesting. Is there a set amount of time that you wear the wrap? Like when you put it on, do you keep it on all day and reapply the next day after showering or what?

How long do the results last from this regimen? Are they permanent, or do they go away when you stop?

won't the weight/centimeters you lose just be sweat and water weight? it won't actually help you burn fat, will it? i feel like you do it for 3 weeks and have a nice waist for 3 days until the water you drink fills you out again...

This particular type of thing is slightly more effective than waist training IF you dedicate the same kind of time to it. But, that's only because you're affectively waist training anyway with the addition of losing water weight.

Personally, I don't like the idea of doing anything that draws out water/sweat this regularly. Exercise is different because you're sweating for only about 30 minutes to an hour, which is dehydrating enough, whereas this sort of regimen forces the area to sweat profusely for hours at a time. After being hospitalised twice for dehydration and treated once at home for water toxicity, I highly discourage doing something like this at home.
I do, however, recommend trying it at a reputable spa. Most of the ones who actually know what they're doing with this treatment will typically provide some form of drink/juice and a snack as part of the service to help offset everything your body loses in the process.

If water weight alone is enough to do something this strict, try reducing salt.
Exotic dancing is like any other job.
If you work in an office, you wear dress shoes and a suit.
If you work in a restaraunt, you wear skid resistant shoes and a uniform.
If you work in a strip club, you wear 7" stilettos and lycra g-strings.

I like to wrap myself before I go to bed. The longer you wrap yourself, the better.

Regular waist training works better, in my experience.
I admit, waist training works better and I did recommended a corset for that, but I like to ad some seran wrap to it. I like to sweat. XD

I have been going to a spa lately that offers the formostar heat wrap service. I was considering getting Lipo-ex for my stomache, but I heard that the melted fat can pop up elsewhere if you don't stick to your mediation supplements (Weird buildup in the neck or thighs years later). But anyway, the formostar heats up your internal fat to 100F Degrees and you melt it away and lose weight. Tomorrow will be my six session of formostar in two weeks.

My water weight + a strict diet + tonalin + fish oil regime has resulted in a 10lb weight loss. I went from 210 to 200. My goal is 170.

P.S. I will post pictures here tomorrow on an empty stomache!

I didn't even notice the part about the waist cincher being one of those cheap ones with plastic boning. XD Oh dear...lol. I'm looking for more shape in my waist in general and figured it'd help the classic waist training process along quicker.

    ...but that formostar junk...

You damn right! Hun, 210 on a girl that is 5'9 doesn't look bad when she has the body frame. My weight goal is to be 170. Some of us love having some meat on our bones! Also, don't think I'm on some miracle diet. I only wish!

My main reason for wrapping is to contour my midsection. I have a really long torso, and I've been trying to shrink my waist for more curvature.

And yes, I did graduate high school and I'm a student at this state's most prestigious private university. Take a wild guess. I've only heard that the fat can travel to other areas of the body. With anything that can "zap" the fat away, you can't help to wonder where it goes. Then too, you can't help but to see what any type of chemicals, pills, surgery, products effects a person in XX amount of years.

I'm 5'9 and one of the thickest girls at my club. I've been putting on weight like crazy lately and am considering putting my fat ass on day shift until I lose like 15 pounds. I weigh 150.

    Are you a dancer?

Formostar is crap. I didn't think that spas even still did it.

For those interested in lipo, I suggest looking into SmartLipo and SlimLipo. I've been thinking about SlimLipo for those little spots that need just a tiny bit of extra help.

Hands down, no wrap of any sort will produce any serious weight loss. Sure, they'll slim you down a bit for a couple of days. Some wraps may have other benefits like detoxification. But they will not cause any actual weight loss.

If you are concerned with losing weight, eat right and exercise regularly. See a nutritionist instead of an aesthetician.

As for Amazon- post pics! Everyone carries weight differently and has a different idea of what their ideal body is. As long as you're increasing your health, you deserve support.

210 would make your BMI 31 - into the obese range. 170 could look hot on a girl with the right frame, but even that puts you slightly above the 'healthy' bmi group...
