how have you never gotten punched in the face? I would flip out if a girl did that to me.

if a guy is really into you and you have to go on stage or somewhere else, leave something with him (a drink or your towel). Ask him to come sit by the stage if you're really worried that those two things won't be enough.

This is really funny. Someone mentioned that if we all left something besides a customer to save our seat (lap dance rag, drink, etc), then the whole floor would be blocked. Well....it happened at my club tonight. The girls at my club, have a tendency of camping out with guy for HOURS. It's crazy. The guy wont buy them drinks, dances, nothing. And yet they sit with them for free. That's just poor business practices.

Now I will say, I never pay attention or notice what girls are sitting with what guys (unless I know that guy is the dancers regular). I've approached a guy not knowing a girl was with him before. BUT; the girls (most, not all) in my club will be polite about mentioning it to you. I apologize and excuse myself asap. Keeping the peace.

Give the DJ some money to call the girl on stage next. That is one of my solutions.

If i think the guy has real spending potential ie: more than a song or two, or is really into me, I will just ask him to please come up and sit at the stage while I'm doing my set. Then I finish closing the sale from there. Many clubs don't allow girls to hustle customers seated at the stage, esp if he has money up, have him put up a buck or 2 and don't take it til the end of your set.

Well first of all most girls in my club have more class than to punch me in the face in front of a customer. Nevertheless, I think it's more rude of a girl to go sit with a customer I was already engaging in conversation with as soon as I go on stage than me to come back and say, "I'm back." That isn't rude at all, it's simply letting the girl know (in case she didn't know already) that you were sitting with the customer... I fail to see how that's rude. I've done it before and the girls never even got mad, they took their hint and left. IMO it's a polite way to let the other girl know you were with the custo prior to your being on stage.

Lol I never leave my drnks unattended and I typically wouldn't ask a customer to move to the stage. Even if I did, that wouldn't prohibit a girl from sitting next to him... I'll stick to my own methods.

Maybe I'm playing devil's advocate, but I actually get really pissed off when girls try to claim I "stole" their customer. I have NEVER deliberately snatched a custy after a girl went on stage. Ever. But truth is, I pay very little attention to who is sitting with who because if I did that, I wouldn't make any money at all. I scan the room for empty chairs next to solo guys and that's it.

One girl bitched me out because I sat with a guy who she had supposedly been with for "3 or 4 hours," and yet had made very little money. She told me I would be fired if she caught me doing it again.....like she's a manager.....and when I called out her bullshit, she tried to get the REAL boss involved. He laughed it off and told me not to pay attention to her.

Bottom line is, they're not our customers. They're the club's customers. And once the girl leaves the table, the custy's available. Now, this girl was being SUCH a fucking cunt about it...I want to knock her ass out for you! I always exercise the common curtosy of asking a customer if he already has company, if he minds if I join him, etc. Then he has the perfect opportunity to tell me to piss off if he's already sitting with someone.

I mean, we forget sometimes that customers might just feel too awkward to tell us to leave, so they're kinda glad when we have to go on stage. That's why I hate girls who try and camp out, especially if they're not making money. One customer actually waved me over and begged me to go do a dance for him so he could get away from a girl who would NOT leave him alone. And yeah, she got mad at me for "taking her customer."

Its a tough one because of course I get upset when it seems like someone ruined a sale for me, but I just try to remember that he should've told her to go away if he wanted me. Sorry you had to deal with such a throat cutting bitch though....that sucks

what most of the girls in this thread are saying is that most / some of the time, we simply do not know that you are with a customer. That happens and he isn't YOUR customer. He's a customer of the bar.

you're intentionally skipping the point of leaving something there by going on a tangent about leaving a drink. Keep using your methods if you want. It's only a matter of time before someone loses their patience.

if this happens to me at the club, i go back and sit down with them, and say to the girl, "oh hi jenny, i see you've met my friend jim! isn't he awesome??" and then smile at jim and go on, "so where were we (in our conversation?") and the girl usually gets the hint.

for me it works because you're not being rude to the girl and telling her to fuck off which could cause problems for you later, and you're not being rude to her in front of the customer which might turn him off... and it sounds more like a natural progression of getting back in to an A B conversation and C'ing her out of it.

i've done this a few times and it's worked like a charm, on the guy and the girl. any girls who have done this to me have gotten the hint and not done it again... and they can't say i was mean in front of a customer or something.
