I'm not quite ready yet to audition, I need to flatten my tummy some more but I'm trying to figure everything out. What did you wear for your audition? Also, did you take any classes like pole dancing or any of that? I really am a newbie at the dancing thing but I know it'll be easy enough to learn.

I'm wondering the same things! Looking to audition in the next couple of weeks myself.

Don't waste money on pole dancing classes as it's really not necessary. It sounds like you've never been to a strip club before, so I recommend checking one out to see how the girls dance - you'll quickly learn that it's not that difficult to dance on stage. Lots of posing, slow movements, stretching, floor work, etc., that's easy to catch on.

As for what to wear, wear something sexy but covered up to go to the club, and bring an outfit (or 2) with you for the actual stage audition that is both easy to take off and you feel sexy in. Practice taking it off while wearing the shoes too!

Are you sure you're auditioning and not just interviewing? I got all sorts of nervous for an audition a month or so ago and then didn't have to even change out of my street clothes.

I invested as little $$ as possible to start. Make sure you know what sort of style your club is and then get something along those lines that will flatter you. I just got a cute lingerie top and a plain dancer bottom, plus latex. Your main investment right now should be your shoes, I think. I danced my first night in what I thought were the sexiest stripper heels the store I went to had. And yeah, I looked really good in them... Until I had to walk up and down shaky stairs that I had never encountered before in the dark, after several hours of straining my legs dancing. I changed to some five inch heels and it was way more doable. I still love the huge heels, but I'm going to leave those to the pros for now.

As far as pole classes, I'm with shanna dior. Most girls at my club don't even bother doing anything with the pole. If you want some ideas for moves, use the search function on this site and type in "floor work" and variants of it. I think it's sierra who has a lot of youtube videos she shared. Two of my favorites that you can pull some style ideas from are:
