I love my current housemoms. Most clubs I have worked have not had housemoms. I honestly don't even use their stuff, but I just love them.

Not where I work now, but at another club one night I was in a room with a customer & another girl most of the night & for the last hour the host brought in a third girl & she started giving the guy a hand job & sold coke to him. The floor host wouldn't listen to me complain about it for obvious reasons so I complained to the housemom & she said "I don't see what you're getting so upset about, you're a stripper. It's not like you work in a medical office."

That sounds like a nightmare! All the clubs I've worked at had housemoms that were either neutral or pleasant to me... at my main club we have two housemoms that rotate night shifts (the shift I work) and they're both really great! One of them brings in the best food and literally caters to us, makes us a plate of food and brings it to us with a pop, etc etc. I love them. lol.

I'd love to know what makes a good housemom go bad. It's nuts to abuse people and expect to get tipped for it. I've never seen anything like it.

We have 3 housemoms.
One is sort of cool but lately hasn't been putting no food out because alot of the OTHER girls are tipping extra which is messed up for those who do tip extra. But overall I like her the most.
Other one is on prescriptive pills so when she's down to her supply she tries to hustle us for extra tip-out,I hate that. Like last week we were EXTREMELY slow and some girls couldn't tip out she got totally out of control and tried to hustle those who did make money, after I saw that I refuse to work with her.
Our last housemom is pretty cool, she used to be a dancer so she knows how it goes but she's so strict and has no sense of humor.
Time is money,money is time!

I only worked once at a club with a housemom. It seemed pretty useless to me - other clubs just have a well-stocked vending machine that does the same job without requiring a tip.
Oh my gosh! That sounds like my favorite house mom. She brought great food everyday, always had clothes and bottoms for us to buy, took care of us if we drank too much, always checked to see how our day was going, had meds (Advil/Midol/etc) and would sew for us too. She didn't do hair and makeup, someone else did that.
Had one when I first started that stole money from me and twice when I brought clothes up to sale (everyone brought stuff up to sale) she said they had been stolen.
Third one was okay, but not great. She had been a dancer and did just enough to get by.

YES. This lady seemed okay at first, she sat with me when I went in for an audition but quickly red flags went up. First as we were watching some of the dancers she had some harsh words to say about few. One night I left without telling her, I got a call from my sister and she was upset about her abusive boyfriend, so I left asap. Yes I should have told her. But the next day when I went in she was the illest cunt. She was smiling as she was telling me how inconsiderate it was and then I almost popped her in the face when she asked, "It's common sense. How old are you? You should have some common sense by now" as if I'm an idiot. Then she cackled and told me to get dressed cause she had one girl on the floor. I laughed and left real quick. Fat bitch

What used to irritate me was the dichotomy between the two - three housemoms that rotated during the week at my club. One would bring fresh, homemade simple food and was always polite and neutral. The other one was outside smoking half the time, not watching my shit which I'm tipping her to watch. The third one would bring food that just insulted me. Seriously? I am tipping you out ten dollars for a couple cans of Wolf brand chili you threw in a crock pot? AND I have to buy the bag of chips or fritos from you for a dollar? WTF?

The manager at one of the clubs I work at is like that. She's an ex-dancer also. But she is a manager, so I can't really do anything about it except not work there. She is horrendous though! Just a really cold bitch. And she's Australian!! I've never meant an Aussie who wasn't cool. Not here in Cali, anyway!

Love my housemom! She definitely makes going into work a little more bearable.
Ughhh I have a huge problem with my house moms where I work. Idk if its BC they get a percentage of what we make or what. We are required to work three days a week and I do when I'm not
In school, like in the summer. But now school has started and I usually just work Saturdays so one day a week. I took off this whole week because of school and an internship meeting in Michigan and I'm from Chicago and I called my HM telling her OK well I can come in Sunday I'll be in town and she tells me I need two days even tho I won't be in town until Sunday and she kept repeating herself. So I asked her again if I could work Sunday and she said no even tho I have been working one day a week for a while and its better than nothing. Sorry I'm going to school to better my life taking 16 credits to become somebody so I can get out of this shit and not deal with her bitchy attitude. She tells me its been a problem of me working one day even though no one has talked to me about it and other girls work one day a week also BC of their schedule. It just amazes me how they think they can treat us like shit but who pays them? Oh yeah the dancers! My hm has a daughter in college and she should be understanding of my situation not rude. I'm sure her daughter would love to hear the words that come out of her mouth and how she treats someone who is just trying to get by in school.

i worked with a passive aggressive, catty, guilt tripping, favorites-playing one but never one that was outright psycho.
House moms need to be sympathetic. Sorry but you sit on your ass all day while I work my ass off all day and go to school. Jeez, and most of them have kids my age (22). Have some sympathy for scheduling.
I've worked at 5 or 6 clubs and have never had a house mom.. Not even in the big clubs. I would actually hate having that extra tip out a night, because I
a) don't leave my stuff out so I don't need it watched
B) I wouldn't use anything they brought in, at all
And c) wouldn't want the extra drama if there was any
We actually had one work for like 2 nights just to clean up the dr at the end of the night and fill in for bartender or whatever but she was super cool.

One of my three house moms is disliked so much that another dancer poured bleach in her locker on Valentine's Day. When she opened her locker up it all went on her - face, in her eyes, her clothes were ruined, dancers' clothes for sale were ruined. I wasn't there that day, but heard all about it later on. The dancer who did it had someone look out for her while she did it. We didn't have a day shift mom then, but now we do because of that. That dancer was found out because she posted something on Facebook about "you get what you deserve" or something along those lines. I wasn't "friends" with her in person or on social media.
I can't say anymore though because that house mom is the real mother of a manager of my club and some of my coworker dancers post here as well.

I've never had to deal with a house mom. After reading this thread, I'm grateful for that.

A house dad who seemed pretty cool at first seriously burned my hair with a straightener that was doused in coconut oil from everyone else's hair. The ends were singed and breaking off. So he whips out the scissors and instead of owning up to his mistake says, "When was the last time you got a haircut? Do you condition?" and gives me a Rachel. Later on he would get snarky about my weight even though I was making great money for the club and finally bonded with me by telling me about waaayyyy too personal stuff.
Reading these posts makes me feel lucky my worst house parent wasn't worse. The bad haircut sucked though.

I don't have a house mom at my current club, but I did at my last one. I really looked up to her at first. She was absolutely beautiful, fun, caring, etc. We actually ended up getting pretty close. Or so it seemed....
I ended up meeting customers that she knew outside the club. In time, all three of them warned me she secretly "hated" me, and was fake. I'm a little naive (even more so then) and genuinely didn't really believe them.
When I moved out of the state a few years ago she cried and was very dramatic when I said goodbye. Despite everything negative I had heard, I was pretty torn up about it.
I kept in touch with a few of my old customers for a little while. Long story short, the house mom had been telling people I was "damned", "a scorned woman", had moved because I got a fatal disease, and was a whore. Nice.

ugh my current gm at my club acts like a stuck up bitchy hm. Can't wait to finally quit that club for good.

I had a house dad at one of my old clubs and he was kind of a bitch, to be honest. He played favorites and he would get really catty if you tried to change your schedule or something.
My house moms now are nice and everything. I just wish we didn't have to tip them out, but whatever. One of them brings food in on the weekends and that's been nice, since I usually don't have time to eat dinner before I leave the house. At least I'm getting *something* out of the $10 I'm required to tip her. I just don't like how she hounds girls for extra tips whether they eat her food or not. I mean, that's really the only "free" service she provides. Everything else she charges for.

I'm so glad I don't have a housemom. If I had a monster one I just don't think I could deal. Plus I always have all my shit (I make damn sure of that) and backups in the car so I can't think of any reason why I would personally need one around. Another hand out wanting money from me? No thanks.
