2 weeks is the min.

you want to be not using any nicotine products at least 2 weeks pre and post op

wound healing
your surgeon should give you a list of things to stop doing for at least two weeks pre and post op (ie no blood thinners, stopping certain meds and supplements)
not smoking for the two weeks before surgery is good practice for not smoking for the two weeks after surgery. because you will want to smoke much more when you are lying in bed watching lifetime movies and eating soup all day than you will beforehand when you can bend over or raise your arms above your head.
we've had some smoking cessation threads in the past couple of months that have helpful tips. also, we had a post-op thread where i listed what vitamins were good for smokers to take during the surgery process.
unless you are baking marijuana into desserts, no smoking means no smoking! you want to be in best health so that the procedure and recovery go smoothly.

2 weeks is what i was told hun x

botm, what e-cig brand are you using?

Honestly I wouldn't touch cigs or weed for a long time after too. You know how they prescribe asthma meds for CC... ya that makes me wonder about oxygen levels and scar formation... hence I didn't touch weed for 3 months after surgery and I think Ive only smoked it once or twice this year. That shit scares me. Obviously I have no scientific proof of this but just thinking asthma meds for CC, vit e for CC - both improve cardiovascular and therefore respiratory functioning... me thinks shit in lungs is not good for scars. But then again my dad is a chronic cigarette smoker and doctors are constantly fascinated at how well he heals so could be genetic too.
