Default Want the Banks to Pay YOU?

    This can be arranged! (snip)

I earned $200 in less than an hour the other day, without removing any of my clothes. A bank gave me the money (or will, a few months from now) in exchange for opening a business checking account.
Why would a bank or a credit union give away that kind of money? To get people through the doors.

If you’ve had just about enough of your current bank’s sneaky fees and indifferent service, this is a golden opportunity: Other banks will pay you to dance with them!
And if you prefer to dance with those what already brung you? Open a new account anyway, for the quick profit and/or to designate a dream. (More on that later, too.)

I found one such offer in a “student survival kit” coupon book while attending the University of Washington. You may see posters at the bank you already use, walk by a sign at your local credit union, or even hear a radio or TV ad.
Or do it the 21st-century way, by looking for incentives on sites such as Money-Rates.com, Moneystasher.com or BankPerks.net.(snip)

These banks are desperate to show deposits/reserves...... Deals like this help you to see which are the most desperate.

    ^^^^and then prey upon them....bwahahahaaaa!

I would like to find banks that don't charge monthly fees, the crazy crap BOA is starting. Both of my banks are bloodsucking predators and I want to get out from under them. I'm willing to settle for a little local credit union or something just to avoid being nickel and dimed to death.

Banks pay you if you open any interest-bearing account. That's what interest is...they pay you to let them use your money.

Try slowly taking your time and reading the link included. Or was the point to say something rude regardless of being wrong?

Again trying to stay away from the political aspect, but it's a fact that the new Dodd-Frank law limiting existing fees is the reason that most major banks are instituting new fees that aren't covered by that law. As to local banks and credit unions, massive increases in the cost of FDIC / NCUA insurance premiums ( as the result of the recent pile of mostly subprime real estate related bank and credit union failures which completely drained insurance reserves ) are severely limiting the ability of these financial institutions to pay 'above market' interest rates and/or provide fee-free banking services.
