Default How to cover a very prominent scar on face?

I have one very prominent acne scar on my lower cheek. It's about 1/2 inch long and fairly deep. It runs sideways, and has a slightly deeper hole in the center. I have about a million little scars too, but I'm not so worried about those. The deep one at the bottom of my cheek, nearish the side of my nose, is so deep that the lights in the club make it look a bit scary. I had my first day back in 2.5 years last week, and I was sooo concious of this scar- which I didn't have when I was dancing before. Is there anything I can do about it? It's like a sideways line

Idk if it's much help... but when I want to fill in piercing scars/holes on my face I use a stage makeup that builds well (or a dab of liquid latex if they're new and still very deep holes) to 'fill them in' let it dry... and then use something like dermablend to level things out/smooth out any edges... let that dry... and then use a heavily pigmented foundation all over so I don't have any overly-concealed looking patches.

^ Stage make-up does work wonders, but I find it very thick and it irritates my skin. I have a very, very dark, ugly round scar on my nose (from a torn nose piercing meh) & I'm very self conscious about it at work/in my professional life. I use a product called "Dermablend Professional" and it does cover the scar well. It also doesn't clog my pores, it's light, and I often use it on blemishes etc. I'm planning to eventually get laser treatment on my scar.

i don' t have experience with stage makeup but i was thinking something along the lines of this. if you have a hole-y scar (hah), you could put all the concealer in the world on it & it's still gonna be a hole. i would try filling it in, evening it out & then putting your normal makeup over it.
