Well if you have no stuff left or have sold all your stuff and you have friends or can meet some friends who simply travel all the time I suggest that. I was homeless for a little while and I hooked up with some young hobos. We just hitchhiked and caught trains all over the north east. We'd beg for money, rummage trashcans (ick, low points), visit food shelters and soup kitchens. When we really needed cash we'd check in with craigslist on a library's computer and see what temp/shitty/ES jobs were available. Since we were together it wasn't bad. They had more experience than I did about hopping trains and places to be and that kind of thing.

But I'm guessing you don't want to be the, "I can't remember when the last time I showered or brushed my teeth but don't worry, it'll rain soon." kind of homeless.

So. Desperate measures. Tell mom that you have to nude cam? Find an understanding friend? Social services/food stamps? Religious organizations/institutions? Beg everyone you know to put in a good word for a job? Hand everyone you know your resume? Sell blood plasma/your eggs? Do a couple of porn movies? Hustle up last minute admission to a college with dorms if there's free student aid? Shack up with someone? Go strip? Find a friend to travel to and stay with for a short while? Do you have a car? If you have a car you're never truly homeless. You can live in your car and drive to an inexpensive hotel with free wi-fi to cam however you'd like. Sugar daddy? Care for an elderly or demented relative in exchange for a place to stay? I do not recommend hooking up with one of those, "magazine salesfolks" gigs, but if you're super desperate, you *could* do that.

Number one thing though, is to not give up. To survive at the bottom you've got to have a hustle.

You're almost homeless so time to hustle NOW before you have no place to go.

I think what I would do if I were you is store your stuff at your mom's in boxes so they can't say you are living there, go to the absolute cheapest hotel room you can find that has internet and do nude camming like crazy day and night. Since you are already getting the daily pay it shouldn't take very long for you to build up some money probably, and then you can think about where to live, but at least you will have a place to sleep, work and some money coming in.

If you don't have money for the first couple days hotel then sell or pawn some of your stuff maybe, if you have anything valuable?

    A few questions:
    Do you have a car?
    Have you ever danced?

If so you can be "homeless" and be a dancer, and even bring along your camming stuff.

Luckily it's not winter there yet, but as it gets colder, if you haven't found a settling point, you're going to need to come south.

Sleep in your car. Get a membership to a gym (24 hour if possible) to use for the showers mainly, or else plot a trip with different clubs and call ahead and ask if they have showers. You can go, shower, work, and then shower again after work and either go sleep in your car, or get a weekly motel and cam from there, and work a couple more times that week.

Or, if you don't want to strip, consider this:

Have you ever considered being a traveling dancer? If you have a birth certificate and an ID there are some(not all locations/clubs do this) places that will pay for your ticket or are willing to front your ticket-- and they also provide housing for contracted girls that is either free or insanely cheap. Usually I would never suggest going through an agency, but this is an exception:

www.thebestdancers.com is the agency I went through. I'm not really sure what areas Janet is offering right now, but if Guam strikes you as interesting let me know so that you wont have to go through her(I'm sorry, I'm not trying to advertise, just um, giving you options).

Aslinn, section 8 has a LONG waiting list and if someone is single, no kids, and no outward disabilities then they won't even give u a second look in some cases even if ur starving on the street. It's like they let u slip thru the cracks becuz they dont see u to have any real "need" to be saved. I know of a girl in my city who was on the waiting list for section 8 for two freakin yrs, then finally got a call notifying her she was getting close to the top of the list. She had a "disability" of sorts too (at least by legal standards I suppose?), she was a recovered iv drug addict who had hep c (yes, resulting from iv needle use)...but even she had to wait 2+ yrs even with her medical needs. By that point she'd already moved in with a bf she started dating becuz she obviously couldn't wait 2 yrs for something so essential to survival.

i loved isobelwren's post. i might get flamed for this but if you have a credit card now is the time to use it or get one. i was homeless for about 2 months. for the first one, i had not been paid yet so i used my credit card (one with a 500 limit) to pay for a weekly efficiency ( i tried out 2 until i found a good one) - it was livable, had wireless and wasn't in too bad of a neighborhood. i cammed my ass off until i was able to get an apartment.

Try to stop and think what you can do. Even a flyer job, Housekeeper. Just to get a room for the time being. What can you sell? If worse comes to worse, get a small storage unit, to use as a base to keep your things. A gym membership, so you have somewhere to shower. Soup kitchens in your area, so you will eat on a regular basis. Good Luck! That is not an easy situation. But you must think in terms of survival if you are out there. Eating, sleeping, bathing.
Is there a 24/7 mass transit system there? Sleep on the train or in the parks by day. Where are the " elite homeless?" (They are there. The people you never realized were homeless, because they kept up their appearances) What do they do? Where do they go?
This fast becoming a way of life, across America. You are not the only one going through this. It is no accident, but by design. Hang in there!

Yeah, I mean, if you have a car and the willpower, you won't be overweight long. Go take this as an opportunity to make a little money here or there, and see some places! Boredom is the worst part of being homeless (when you have the issue of safety and food figured out, of course.) I actually slept better in my car than I did in my bed at home when I resolved to sleep in my car for a month.

One thing I wouldn't do is go to a city shelter tho. A few friend's of mine were sociology majors in college and did related field work, learned that shelters are even more dangerous than JAIL. And the shelters fill up mad quick ESP on cold or bad weather days, so u gotta wait at one before dark at like 4 pm to get in...which drastically cuts into hrs available during the day that u can work a job and/or jobsearch.

I agree with the hotel & camming thing for now. Also libraries are good for jobsearching and free Internet if u lack ur own computer/laptop. Also do u have any friend's u could crash with temporarily?

Oh I'm sorry guess were I'm from its easier. I would definatly go the hotel route then and after getting some cash find a cheap(possible ghetto) without a timed lease and then just keep moving up.

If I was you I would find a room available on Craigslist with a woman and offer to do chores/housework/errands for her in exchange for a place to stay. That is free, and will save you money versus staying in a motel. If that is not an option then find a motel with a good weekly rate, like $35-40/night type deal.

You can do webcamming in the motel. Many strip clubs have showers in their locker rooms, so you could also find a strip club with a shower in the locker room and work open to close. You could sleep in your car or make friends with a dancer after work if you need a place to stay. If I was going to be homeless I would go to work at my home club from open to close (noon - 4 AM) and shower there. I have friends there I could stay with.

If you are hungry and need a good meal with substance consider dating for dinner. During the Great Depression women did that so they could eat, and your situation would make me think it would be useful for you too. Join www.pof.com, it's totally free, and find local singles in your area. You can schedule "First dates" and go out to eat with them and get a nice meal in your belly. Make sure you bring leftovers if you can, put them in a fridge in your motel if possible. Strip clubs sometimes have fridges available for dancers too.

    I hope this helps!

Find some poor sap that you don't find completely repulsive, make him fall for your charms, unofficially move in with him (just end up staying every night) until you get yourself sorted. What's that Ashton kutcher film, spread?

I was homeless as a teen. It's really hard, but don't give up! My advice: Sleep during the day.
I hope you never have to go through this. I really hope you're okay OP...

OP, you could also stay at a weekly hotel. That's what I'm gonna have to do soon (losing my place).
Sure, they're pretty trashy... but they're so cheap and it's actually convenient! A lot of them have free wi-fi!
Sell as much stuff as you can, get a hotel room, cam as much as possible!!! MAKE YOUR GOAL NO MATTER HOW LONG/WHAT IT TAKES!
    CAM EVERYDAY!
