I've only ever seen one girl who looked totally "skanked-up" in the club. Guys were asking me if she worked there, and I was like "uhhh, no..." I did, however, have a very fat (like, blobs in all the wrong places fat - not just "big"), ugly, stinky woman come in one night and try to pick a fight with me and upstage me. She was incredibly drunk - breath reeked of alcohol, but I sat next to her because she was with a club regular who wanted me to sit for a minute. She started off by telling me how pretty I was and how she had always wanted to be a dancer, but "now I'm fat so I can't be a dancer anymore..." Trying to be nice, I told her she was beautiful and she could do whatever she wanted. Being completely smashed, this turned into one of those drunkie-roundabout conversations where they just keep repeating themselves over and over and over, and, after about 3 times of this, I wasn't in the mood to tell her how pretty she was again. So I just kinda nodded to show I was listening. She all of a sudden flew into a rage and started screaming at me, "You think you're better than me, don't you!? You think you're prettier than me! Well, guess what, bitch? I'm waaaay hotter than you! I could get a job here if I wanted, and if I worked here, I'd dance fucking circles around you!" Then she jumped up from her chair and started dancing around, going "I'm a dancer! I'm a dancer!" Then she'd shoot me a dirty look, and be like "You don't think I could be a dancer! You think you're better than me!" I was just like "I never said that!" But she kept going, dancing around me, shouting "I'm a dancer! I'm a dancer! I'm better than you, bitch! I'm prettier than you!" Funnily enough, when I finally had enough of this and got up to leave, she immediately grabbed me and asked in this sad, puppy-dog voice "Where are you going?" Fuckin' drunkies...

I also work with a girl who is rather big and not very attractive, who alternates between talking about going to the SC all the time and how she loves watching the girls, and saying nasty comments about strippers being dumb bitches. She clearly has jealousy issues.

Anyway, prettied-up or ugly as sin, I think a lot of the girls who come into SCs, and aren't actually into girls, harbor some kind of fantasy about being dancers themselves but don't have the guts to do it, so they try to find ways to prove "they're better anyway" and could totally outdo us - if they wanted to, of course.

I've noticed this. Saturday nights at my club have been "couples" night lately, or "girls night out" night. Ugh... But the girls are all looking as nice as they possible can, in heels that are almost stripper height, etc.

There are a few exceptions. There was this one lady with her husband, and they ended up getting a private room for 30 minutes with one dancer I'm friendly with, and the lady was NOT dressed up at all (jeans and a baggy t-shirt, no makeup). But this is rare.

There's only been one or two dressed that badly, but there are too many that lol all over their boyfriends and even start grinding! Like "haaaar look i'm doin a lapdance!! Funnily though in my old student bar recently there were girls on a night out showing more ass that I do at work Like you shouldn't show that for free girl!

On a related note I don't really like the 6 inch platform fashion shoes that are everywhere, they're not very ladylike and most girls don't even learn to walk in them properly (cringe!), then end up taking them off at the end of the night. So not classy!

this was a big trend when i was at sin city. i think the mentality is "these guys give me money and buy me drinks and pay me attention and i don't even have to get naked therefore i am a better human than you". and of course, mgmt doesn't give a shit because drink sales are up.

Most of the time I've seen them all dressed up was after the club. The SC is a popular after nightclub activity. Not to mention if you want to get all dolled up to go somwhere, it shouldn't be an issue if it is at the strip club. They just need not to compete with the dancers.

I only see this kind of behavior on friday or saturdays at my club. I feel like I have hundreds of stories: taking tips off my rack, sitting in customer's laps (whilst grinding) at my stage and not letting the guy underneath him look at anything else other than her (and I knew they were not dating), and having small dance parties beside the stages. They urk me, but luckily the managers and staff at my place know what they are good for (alcohol sales) and are pretty good at keeping them on good behavior (enforcing our strict 'no lap sitting' policy. The dancers aren't even allowed to do that.)

I do love: when girls come in looking hot then ditch their boyfriends to buy consecutive private dances with me :3

I work the day shift, and see this often. DAY SHIFT. It doesn't bother me that these girls dress in heels, too much makeup, etc just for a public outing. What does annoy me a bit is that more often than not, these girls drink entirely too much and begin sitting with customers or dancing on their boyfriends as if they were at a night club.

I'm all for having a good time, but it really screws with our money and make a lot of dancers upset. I have also seen large groups of girls come in, who criticize dancers, have a couple drinks and leave.

All this being said, it has a negative impact on how I view girls coming in the club. I would love to be able to talk to women in the club, but this makes it that much harder.

I work in a dive and we get a lot of locals coming in for drinks, including lots of girls.
    And yeah, they do.
Often they'll go on stage with their friends and dance and strip a little. And they'll get more attention than actual dancers for it, because all their friends are cheering them on. It pisses me off and I don't know why my club allows this shit.
That and a millions others reasons is why I wish they wouldn't allow women to enter. I've had WAY too many confrontations with jealous bitches who get pissed when I mistakenly hustle their boyfriend. What the fuck did you expect?! If you're not going to buy dances, at least behave, or GTFO!

I guess most people I've seen wearing them aren't ladylike and can't walk in them! I think you've gotta have the right outfit and act with a bit of decorum to make them look classy... maybe I've just seen too many trashed kids falling around in them on a weekend! Tbh I think this is a byproduct of having my massive dance shoes too since I've started buying heels a bit lower than I used to.

^oh OK that makes more sense, I was confused by your statement lol. But in that case I agree.

Anyway on the topic at hand, I have run into some super drunk sloppy girls that were convinced they were the hottest thing since sliced bread. For some reason I must look too nice and these girls try and start stuff with me. At my first club this would happen every weekend, the one I remember most is when I was peeing this drunk lady starts screaming at me WHILE I WAS PEEING! So I'm peeing (idk why I had that much to go or it was a short period of time lol) and right as I'm pulling up my thong and debating if I would get fired for hitting a customers two of her friends show up drag her away and apologize like crazy. It was just so bizarre.... at the end of the night she was drunk and laying g on the floor in the MIDDLE Of the floor refusing to get up lmao

This happens all.the.time! There have even been a few instances where girls will hop onto my stage without permission. Once, years ago, a girl hopped up onto my stage and sprinted to the pole, attempted to do a pole trick and obviously not knowing wtf she was doing landed on the top of her head with a loud, hard thud. After she got up she had the nerve to get mad at me and start calling me names, lol.

Has anyone noticed that the majority of women behaving this way are quite young? I've never had a problem with older women--actually, they are some of the best tippers!

This pisses me off but I keep my mouth shut because I HAVE been that drunk female customer lol.

As a dancer: I'm not bothered by female customers coming in all dressed up and having a drink...at all. To me, this is all about sexual freedom and I like to see some ladies loosen up and hav fun. They usually tip me on stage and give me nice compliments. At one club I worked at, we were supposed to turn the ladies around and take their top off, which was a bit humbling for them and guys tipped me better for it. I do not, however, appreciate their little drunken dance parties by the stage or when they make out with their boyfriends and give you dirty looks. Dumb bitches.

    As a female customer:

I've come in all dolled up, been hit on by customers who thought I worked there and I almost always got absolutely hammered. I've puked in the bathroom, tried to hustle male customers for drinks and once even tried to get on stage. Yes, I've been THAT customer. I didn't know better, and in all fairness, it was never to upstage girls. I just thought of the club as a fun, care-free environment and figured the dancers have seen it all and wouldnt mind. Lol needless to say I was wrong.

Sooo...I'm confliced. All in all, I try to just have fun with female customers and realize that MOST of them actually admire dancers, if only in secret.

during my first year dancing, i didn't understand why all the dancers were being rather hostile to the only female customer in the bar. she was older and she was getting very drunk. at the time, i didn't realize how distracting she was from us trying to work because i was still super shy and not-knowing what i was doing. and every time the dj would try to get her to go up on stage, the other dancers got more and more irritated. again, i didn't really see what the big deal was. she did eventually get on stage, get completely naked, attempt to do a pole trick, fell on her head, and all the dancers in the club seemed really satisfied with this enormous fail.

the younger dancers are the ones who seem anti-stripper and are shouting things like "do a real pole trick!" as if their dollar is meaningful to me.

female customers who want to be there are great. it's the ones who don't understand that we are working and we are not circus performers that bother me the most. during spring break in florida, we would get groups of college students and it was impossible to tell who would be pleasant and who would be angry and hostile.

and of course, the tasteless women who take dollars off the ground and pocket them. i imagine this will eventually become such a big problem that mgmt will be forced to go back to the GENTLEMEN'S club thing, because i am noticing more and more dancers who are unwilling to work weekends because of this bullshit.

I truly agree with this some how the strip club has become a place for everyone to come and hang out. It has only been in the last 6-7 years women want to be strippers back in the day women wanted no parts of us at all.

When I've gone to a SC as a customer I don't think Ive ever tried to "upstage" but I def felt the need to look nice. It's like going out with your hottest friend and your wearing sweatpants lol. Makes you look bad by comparison.

I've been lucky and have never had any terrible problems with female customers. I used to have a shy lesbian couple who came in regularly and seemed to really like me, although they never bought private dances.

One time when I went to a club as a customer, it was kind of a last-minute thing and I was wearing jeans and a band t-shirt and had my hair up. The girls were kind of staying away from me, and I was confused. When I expressed my confusion to my boyfriend, he said, "Well, you are kind of putting off a butch vibe." I still don't understand why they would have been unwilling to dance for me, and I don't know how they missed that I was clearly there WITH HIM. Maybe they had had one too many bad experiences with ladies...?

LOL I was going to say, I've usually only had good/neutral experiences with women in the club, but the worst ones were girls from other clubs! When I first started a woman from another town brought her fiance in for his birthday - got hideously drunk, hijacked the pole (it's not actually mounted on a stage at that club, just away from the bar a bit) and proceeded to give her clubs business cards to any girl she saw. Well, tried to. She sort of flapped them in our direction...
She seemed pretty nice, all things said and done, though.

Most women already dress like strippers when they go out for a night on the town as it is.

What I hate is when women are sitting in front of the stage with their man, and blatantly cock block.

No big deal I guess it's annoying.

The best part is those women put down strippers, then act like the rudest and trashiest dancers around.

    Gotta laugh at that.
