Do your saline implants feel as soft as silicone ones?

Also, if you feel comfortable answering, if your saline implants did/didn't feel soft, did you have a lot of breast tissue before the implants or not?

I'm just curious. I've heard people argue both sides.

I haven't had both. I have only had my silicone, and I had a big B cup before, so I had a good amount of tissue. From what I've been told, mine are the softest anyone has felt. Girls will grab my boob playfully then say "wait... why are they so soft? aren't they fake?" lol. To me they literally feel the same as when I was a D cup when I was pregnant.

I have felt saline implants, though. And IMO, not to offend anyone, they don't feel as "squishy" as silicone. And I can feel the bag, sort of like a water balloon. They LOOK as good as silicone, but if you really get in there and feel both, I think you can tell a difference. Salines don't feel bad or hard, just not quite as squishy, IMO.

No they're not as soft, but do not think that means they are hard either. They are firmer than natural breast tissue but by no means are they not soft. I LOVE them. I had very, very little breast tissue before implants.

I started out as a 34 barely A and got 420 cc's of saline and am now a small D cup. So I barely had any tissue and went up 3 cup sizes. My boobs are 6 months old and soo soft!! They jiggle when I walk too They are still firm but not weirdly so. I love them <3 Plus they were $1000 cheaper than silicone.

I have silicone but have felt some salines. I thought some were as soft as mine, others weren't. But none were hard. I think it's a big misconception that implants are hard. Ive never ever felt a hard one except obviously right after surgery up to 1 yr. They just look firm and therefore youthful and sexy. One thing about salines is they move better.. My doc called it the "shimmy effect". I think they feel different but not hard. More like I could tell there's fluid in there in some but not all.

Yep. I was thinking about doing saline because they were cheaper, but he tends to kinda push the silicone... and I was worried about them rupturing/leaking.

Loved him. And your boobs look amazing. Really natural looking, especially since you didn't have much boob to begin with. He makes the best natural looking BAs that I've ever seen. Mine almost look too natural, lol.

Mine do. I think the key is having breast tissue before and not over-filling.

I hated my salines. They were also a little too big for my small rib cage/little tissue self. They were hard & didn't jiggle, felt like soft rubber(don't like). I still made good money off of them, but ugh I didn't like them. I have cohesive implants now. They are less firm but not as squishy/soft as i'd like(i'm guessing it has more to do with my pocket & the profile which is high, not sure). They feel like marshmellows. Still softer than my previous salines.

I'm getting the liquid gel next & I want moderate profiles. Mods would look just right on me. Plus wont fill the top making it firm & still have some projection. I want that gooey feeling.

You definitely want to overfill them some. I was told that overfilling between 50-100 cc's is the way to go. I had 375's overfilled to 420's. I've also heard that if you don't overfill at all then you're more at risk for deflation. The website is like a SW for boobies. Go check it out

Overfill causes them to be firmer ie. less natural feeling, if that's your concern.

    Ive seen soft silicone and soft saline and vice versa. I don't think the type of implant matters as much as the amount of breast tissue you have relative to the implant size. For obvious reasons, if your breast tissue is smaller than the implant size, then your implant will be harder because the little amount of skin that is stretched so tightly around a large implant;

And if your breast tissue is bigger than or as big as the implant you will end up with softer and more realistic implants.

Also, note that girls who massage daily (1 hr a day!) will have much softer implants/breasts because it keeps the pockets open rather than allowing scar tissue to contract around the implant causing implant hardness (an unwanted side affect). Massage technique is very important too. You can't just massage them like you are massaging regular tissue. You have to squeeze and dig into them HARD, for one hour. I would lay 25 of flat weights on my breasts daily for one hour and my implants were very soft almost very realistic, but the round shape did give it away because my natural breast tissue was firm and had no sag at all. The compression technique is another type of massage technique for breast implants. A lot of doctors don't seem to stress this hard enough, in the USA.

Wow mama it's rare I find someone with bigger implants than me! LOL! Anyways ...

I have 900 mod profile salines, under the muscle. I started with a large B/baby C cup. Considering the size, they are pretty soft. It has taken almost a year for them to soften up though ... up until even a couple months ago they were firmer than now and had not totally settled in to their final placement. I think silicones are softer in general but it depends on your taste. I, for instance, wanted a little firmness - like when your boobs are a little fuller and more firm during your period, you know? I would describe that as how mine feel. Very soft and squishy in the cleavage area, more firm on the outside curvature. They do jiggle when I walk like real boobs too.

I have minimal breast tissue (AA) and have had both. Saline SUCK compared to my silicone. First were saline, switched to silicone second time. A world of difference. Feel so much more real, like my own. Third set of course I went with silicone!

I have 550cc HP salines under the muscle. I went with saline b/c at the time (2004) it was my only option as it was my first time and I had never had a baby (they would let me get saline otherwise, not sure why but that's what I was told by several different ps and now its different I think?) Anyway, I had a lot of breast tissue to begin with so my boobs are probably as soft as you will get with saline, however it is a noticeable difference from the silicone ones I've played with. Next time I will for sure upgrade to silicone.

Also, I have felt girls boobs with saline and no breast tissue and honestly wanted to throw up. They looked beautiful, but I did not expect them to feel like that! They were hard and just like these big bags and not appealing to me at all. If I had little breast tissue to begin with silicone would be my only option.

How soft they feel has to do with whether the implant is placed above or below the muscle. Naturally placing the implant below the muscle is going to make it more difficult to grasp or squeeze, especially when your muscles are tense or contracted.

If you have your implants below the muscle there are exercises you can do to reduce the tension. I have mine below the muscle and I never do those excercises. I have had my implants for about 3 years (silicone gel) and they are not as soft feeling as I would like. I had small Bs prior to implants and DDs after.

Yeah I guess I should mention my saline were sub muscular and my first silicone were sub muscular and these silicone (current) are sub glandular. I am pro sub glandular and don't think any woman, regardless of her physique and amount of breast tissue should have implants placed sub muscular. I am a AA with almost no breast tissue and I these are the best looking implants on me by far not to mention guys can never even tell they are fake (I don't always believe that but then again they look pretty damn real to me!) and I'm constantly getting compliments.

I think mine are soft. Although ive had my salines for over 10 yrs. 34 A, 36 DD now. 700 ccs.
I actually am with a guy(for over a yr now) who truly prefers fake as opposed to real.
I wouldnt care anyway, i was always insecure over my breast size so by 19 i have saved up and went for it. Got a redo last yr, to go bigger (initially had 400 ccs which made me a c cup)
Anyways, they jiggle, bounce, they dont sag.. I have never felt a silicone implant so i cant say which is softer, but im pretty sure silicone is definitely softer more natural according to PS's and women who have them. Its a personal decision obviously, but saline implants are not Hard. Some may be a little firm(depending on actual breast tissue and sizing and surgeons expertise) but if you go to a good PS you shouldnt have issues

I have 425cc overfilled to 480cc. I had a lift so I had some breast tissue. My boobs have also grown 3 cup sizes since I had the implants put in. My boobs are really soft/natural looking since I have so much real boob.

I have felt a lot of boobs. If you don't have a lot of breast tissue and you want the most natural feeling boobs possible, I would get silicone for sure. It really all depends how "real" you want them to feel.
