Dizzy Using Paypal- but linking it to a re-loadable card?

Every customer i've ever tired to get to use Alertpay (pointless now I guess), Ebay giftcards, etc, has thrown up a big hissy fit about how everyone else uses Paypal and how they shouldn't have to sign up for anything to pay me when they already have a Paypal account, blah blah blah.

It's causing me so much of a headache I can barely be motivated to log-on anymore, I need to fix this FAST.

So i'm like, can't I just get one of those re-loadable Visa cards, put a fake name on it, and make a new Paypal account (also with a fake name) to attach to that re-loadable card?
Does Paypal let you do that?

That way customers can pay via Paypal to my account, then I could transfer those funds to my Visa and shop in stores/do what I need with that.

With Paypal, its still REALLY EASY for them to do a chargeback and be refunded 100% of the money they gave you. Especially if you aren't sending them something in the mail with a tracking #. And Paypal does not allow adult transactions, so if they catch you (if a guy files a chargeback they could catch you obviously), they could freeze your entire account and void all the money inside for violating the terms of service.

HERE'S WHY ALL GUYS HARASS GIRLS TO USE PAYPAL: Because they know they can easily be refunded with a chargeback. Paypal favors the buyer. Most other payment processors don't seem to.

I have used the reloadable gift cards on paypal before. It worked fine until they shut my account down for changing my payment method too many times.

I use ChipIn.com as that takes payment from paypal but only for "gift/fund contributions" and I never leave much in my PP account. I geuinely give no service in return.

I do think Paypal are missing out on an awful lot of custom because they don't allow adult services. Yet they allow tangible adult business like dvds and sex toys

Exactly. Paypal is simply not a good option. I turn away paypal guys every single day. If they refuse to use any other payment method, it is because they are simply trying to scam you. Legit guys will use a payment method of YOUR choice.

Paypal did used to accept adult services. They changed the policy years ago and started shutting down accounts and it's not likely to ever change back.

ChipIn will not protect you! There have been several cam hosts who had their Paypal accounts shut down for posting it on adult sites.

Paypal and camming don't mix and there is no way around it. You'll eventually get burned if you keep using it, even linked to another card or with chipin.

A lot of these guys know all about how to get their money back from Paypal and some will even try to blackmail you into free shows by threatening to turn you in to Paypal. If they can pay with paypal they can pay with a legitimate adult payment service too if they aren't trying to scam you.

Also, I just want to add my own personal experiences with Paypal. I tried to open a second Paypal account because my main account is linked to my Ebay biz, neither accounts were for adult services. I really just wanted my main Paypal account to accept payments and use my debit card linked to it for biz expenses only so it was easier to file my taxes at the end of the year. Since I do shop on Ebay for personal and also use my Paypal debit for personal stuff, I just wanted a separate account and debit card for that. Paypal froze both accounts because you cannot have more than one Paypal account, period. It's against their user policy. I spoke with a nice customer service agent explaining I was unaware of that, and he said he would close the second account down and I could continue using my original. 3 Months later I changed banks, when I entered my new banking info, Paypal flagged my account again stating I had two accounts. It took me two weeks to unfreeze it again, calling Paypal 9-15 times a day because they had permanently banned me from using Paypal EVER again. I was so upset because I make a living off Ebay and not having Paypal would doom me. Finally a customer service agent took pity on me because she could see I never used the second account, told me that they actually cannot delete it, and had to talk to the pres of the company to let me back on (i had really high feedback and sales so i think that had something to do with it). Now I am too scared to ever change my bank info again for fear my account will be flagged again and i wont be able to get it back. I also lost A LOT of money in this process. I had over 200 auctions up at the time that they cancelled, and had to pay again to re-list them, not to mention ever lunc hour for two weeks straight was spent in my car arguing with Paypal. I was yelling the last few days of that. Super exhausting! I would not use Paypal for adult work under ANY circumstances, I wasn't even trying to, they will really mess you up if you attempt to open a second account. I used a different email and everything, but they have software that is really good at catching this stuff. that's just my two cents, for what its worth..

Not worth it. There are plenty of other options to receive money from custies.

Payoneer doesn't require you to sign up for an account to pay someone

The only way I can think of going around paypal if you must is getting a customer to go buy a green dot paypal load card. They give you the number on the card you enter it to your paypal and there you go. There is no run around and they can't jip you with this.

I have used these but only for personal use. Sooo in the future if you girls do not wanna get amazon gift cards etc mention this to a customer...

In my opinion, 'PayPal' and 'cam show' shouldn't even be in the same sentence, and I'd be too worried about being ripped off to even take the risk.

Someone posted a thread on another forum about how a cam girl supposedly scammed a guy on MFC with PayPal, but we only got one side of the story.....

Also, when PayPal does penalize a model, don't they usually end up giving the money back to the guy (douchebag) who told on the model?

Has anyone heard of any incidents where PayPal actually penalized the guy (not JUST the model) for participating in the adult transaction? I'm curious. It seems like it's always the cam girls who suffer the wrath of PayPal, and I've never heard of the guys being penalized too.

I know it's off topic, but roast, didn't the guy in your avatar play the boyfriend of George Lopez's mom on the Nick t.v. show? I used to lay on the couch watching George Lopez at night, and I'm pretty sure I ended up missing cam time on MFC because of it...lmao.

I love moneypack cards and use them personally too. I think this will be my preferred payment method from now on. I have 3 different rushcards and a greendot card, i divide up bills, spending money, emergency money ect on these cards. once the custy buys the card they can't return it for a refund so they've pretty much committed themselves, once they give you the # on the moneypack card the money can't be taken back, they also have to be purchased with cash, so good for a customer worried about wifey seeing the cc bill. Also convenient because you can buy them in the middle of the night at all kinds of places. Also its nice to have one of these cards in general. I broke down in another state, and my bf bought a moneypack card and texted me the #, i had the funds on my card 5mins later. It was sunday in the middle of the night, with a traditional bank account I would have been screwed. I know i sound like an ad but i really do love rushcard for real.

sorry for the threadjack but i have a question. i linked paypal to my payoneer card w/o really thinking. i don't do prvt loads on my card from custies at all, just partner loads. the reason why i linked my payoneer card cuz it is the most active card that i have. i have my college debit card but don't use it as often as my payoneer card cuz that is where most of my money goes on. i use my paypal for my own personal online shopping. if this is bad what should i do? i wasn't really thinking about that when i linked it cuz i was never intending to use it for adult transactions but i do obviously get adult money loaded to my payoneer account. now i am even scared to switch it cuz of what holly hottie went through. i do not wanna be banned from paypal, that would really suck.

Linking Payoneer shouldn't be a problem because you aren't directly taking payment through Paypal. Mine is linked too.

By the way, back to the subject of this thread - those guys who are asking hosts for Paypal - for new hosts just wanted to mention that a big reason they want you to take Paypal is because they don't want to pay you. They can easily reverse the transaction or even threaten to have your account closed if you don't do free shows for them in future.

Any legitimate cam customer will be able to pay you another way.

You can't, as far as I know.

You can only use it as a payment source when paying for something with Paypal.
