    Default Sexy Ladies Getting Even Sexier (Weight Loss)

    I read about some ladies starting a workout plan and thought I'd start a thread where we can chat about what has and has not worked for some of us (didnt wanna hijack the other thread).

    I personally had amazing results with my workout which is saying a lot because I am the laziest person I know lol. My friend and I did Insanity and it was amazing! I torrented the videos (shhhh dont tell) because they aren't the cheapest dvds. Kicked my butt !My friend took before and after pictures and you can definitely see the difference. Its a 60 day program and doesn't involve weights or and type of equipment which I liked because I didn't want to have to go out and buy things. I have also used some diet pills (yes I know they're bad) when I wasn't working out. They gave me a LOT of energy and I lost the weight I needed to in a small amount of time. I had a stubborn 10lbs I couldn't lose an it really helped. The pills are also a thermogenic so you stay warm and burn calories when you do eat. I made a more money after losing that weight. It mayb have been from the confidence boost or maybe the actual weight lose but ether way it worked so I was a happy panda

    Anyways I'm eager to hear what worked and didnt work for you ladies!

    What diet pills did you try ? I would really love to lose about 10lbs too .. I think it would give me a huge confidence boost as I feel very tubby right now ... I am a curvy girl, (uk12) with a big ass that will not go anywhere no matter how slim i am ( move over j-lo ! ) but i just want to feel better about myself - I diet during the week then at the weekend it goes wrong with wine / meals with my husband who i dont see during the week cos I am always on Cam !

    Well, Marley has been my motivator. So far I have cut my bad carbs (except the weekends) and I am getting ready to fuel my 30 minute Zumba into 1 hour a day of some type of high intense cardio. Just by cutting bad carbs, I have lost 8 pounds in just a couple weeks. I know I have lost several inches because of my clothing size. Once I get the full game going, plus lifting weights again, I will be built! YAY!!

    Thanks for the compliment =) I used OxyElite Pro. Its a great pill and if you look reviews up online its nothing but good things. I'm really picky about what I take because I always believed diet pills were all hype and no results. If you go to your vitamin store they usually give away samples. My friend had some so I used some of his for a week and I was sold lol. Just be careful because I forgot to eat a lot of the time and would get light headed. They are a lot cheaper online then at vitamin/supplement stores. They're almost half the price on Amazon I think. Hope this info helps!

    I've just very recently given up carbs with the exception of fruit and an occasional piece of whole grain bread. I didn't want to cut carbs out completely because a) they are good for you and 2) I know i'm gonna eat them eventually so I don't wanna lose a whole bunch of weight then gain it right back. I also workout at least an hour a day. Nothing too crazy. Maybe like 30 minutes on the treadmill doing intervals and 30 minutes on the stairclimber. I go to the Y. I can't workout at home since i'm already here working. I need to get out of the house for something or I'll go crazy. So far it's been working well. I'm only like a week in though.

    I've had amazing results on the Atkins Diet in the past. I stuck to it religiously and lost a stone in 2 weeks.

    I tried it again this time last year after gaining some weight again and had to stop it abruptly as my skin started developing these weird white blotches all over and I felt like crap (not induction flu as I'd been past that stage)... went to the doctor and apparently I was suffering from protein poisoning.. EEK!!

    Oh yeah, also... Have any of you ladies used power plates? If so, then, how effective are they really?

    There's a UK wide craze with them at the moment but I've never been one for marketing hype, as I'd rather hear the facts from consumers.

    If they work then I'm sooo signing up for the month. I wonder if a session on those would be classed as HIIT? I'm tempted to join in the other thread with the rest of the lasses and see if I can banish my gut for Christmas, heh.

    My gut is not so much of a Muffin Top anymore, it's more of a loaf top (thank god for camera angles /sigh)
