seriously,
do you wear them?
why?
i never quite got it.
apart from the 80s thing.
too slippery for pole work
too hot but not hot enough to keep you warm in the cold
sits kinda awkward when too big
why not just wear socks instead?
or stockings?

i wear knee high socks, but i do like the look of bellbottom leg warmers. i wish i could find them.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

I like thick leg warmers, I wear them just above my knees and low down on my shoes.
1. They keep me warm.
2. They elongate my legs.
3. They make me look thinner somehow. Optical illusion, very interesting.
4. They make floorwork easy. Sliiiiiide.
I dig em.

My club doesn't have a pole, so I wear leg warmers to make floorwork easier/protect my legs from bruises.
I like thigh high socks/stockings better, but they slide off if I wear shoes without an ankle strap.
Anyway, I'm guilty of thinking they're adorable. But sometimes guys will comment on them and be like, "Whoa, bringing back the 80's?" haha

I loooove the little ankle warmers. They don't really get in the way of pole work for me.
In clubs that are less about the pole, leg warmers are warm, they don't interfere with shoes like socks do, they slide for floor work, cushion against bruises, etc.
Exotic dancing is like any other job.If you work in an office, you wear dress shoes and a suit.If you work in a restaraunt, you wear skid resistant shoes and a uniform. If you work in a strip club, you wear 7" stilettos and lycra g-strings.

1. They can be pulled up during floorwork to protect the knees from bruises.
2. I have skinny calves and thick thighs. Leg warmers camouflage my skinny calves and makes my legs look proportionate.
3. I think they look cute.

I wouldn't wear them ITC. I would wear these though, outside:

Yep, they hide skinny calves and protect the knees. And somehow I feel like they balance out my body, which is like big head/skinny-noboobs-skinny/big butt/skinny legs...
Wow, the word "skinny" has now lost all meaning.

They look hot.
i have really skinny calvesmaybe I should give them a try... where can I find them online that will match with an outfit?
edit: nevermind i found some

I've noticed that they're more common in dive-y strip clubs than in nicer clubs.

I don't care who likes them or not. I get bruises on my calves from pole work and they are hard to cover with make up.
In the winter when the club is freezing it feels good.
I've work leg warmers at upscale clubs and dives, no one ever said anything to me about it.
By the way--they look cool as hell.
If you are willing to do for one year what other's won't, you can spend a lifetime doing what other's cant.

Haha...my first thought has nothing to do with any of the things already mentioned.
Other than preventing bruises on floorwork...
I wear legwarmers because
a) I am too damn lazy to shave half the time, and if I shave too much I get horrible ingrown hairs. Stockings reveal the hair if you look close, where heavy socks and legwarmers don't.
b) I am constantly healing new leg tattoos...they look horrible when they are all scabby (and hairy...you can't shave for two weeks) and again, stockings show this. Socks are a little too tight, and tend to rub and itch and drag at the scabbing. Leg warmers are ah-may-zing.
Wow...that makes me sound kinda gross! lol
I take cash, debit or credit. I just don't take shit.

I like the big furry monster ones that Gogol dancers ware. I have winter boots like that.
I don't like socks/stockings because my shoes fall off my feet, and half the time my toenails, even though they're kept short and smooth make holes in the toes of my stockings. haha.
I wear them from time to time to assist with sliding across the stage. Plus. I <3 the 80's.

They're warm!!
I've worn them a couple times. I like the look of them on other ladies, but I felt a little awkward wearing them. But yeah, the reason I got them was to help protect my knees and help me slide around while I'm doing floorwork.

Try a Dancewear shop hun. Somewhere that sells stuff for Ballet and Ballroom dancers.
This....!
I love them. I wear them with short skirts, or over skin-tight jeans or lycra jeans.....and always with high stiletto heels. I really don't care if it's very '80's or 'trashy' on a 40 year old woman........they ARE hot...!![]()

I haven't seen them in upscale/gown clubs, but I've seen lots of girls where them at nicer clubs. It really depends on the style of legwarmer and how it matches with your outfit.
Legwarmers are win <3
