And Ive danced at clubs n Atlanta where in an upscale club dances are 5 dollars I need something not overbearing I just want to go to work maybe make 200 and be done schools my main focus and I'm a single mom not to mention I'm not a pro with pole tricks. It also seems like getting a waitress job is difficult not the highest then over rates and I remember waitressing in Magic City Atlanta and at least 4 of the girls where there at least over 7 years

You'll make more money dancing. I've never cocktailed in the NOLA clubs, but I've waitressed in restaurants and tended bar at neighborhood bars all over the French Quarter. It's totally possible to make at least $240 doing service industry (non-stripping) work some nights, but not necessarliy EVERY night. Depending on where you work, $240 could be a VERY good night, or just a decent night. Since Halloween is coming up, money should be okay for the rest of the month. Halloween is one of our biggest holidays here. Things will probably die down a little after that until New Years. Working for tips in ANY kind of job is going to be somewhat unpredictalbe / hit-or-miss.

It doesn't matter that you don't know pole tricks. Are you in really good shape? Do you know how to move slowly and sexy on stage, and to hustle for dances off-stage? Bourbon St. is all about the hustle - since there's so many tourists you'll have to be able to hustle in a party party party type atmopshere, and it's less likely that you'll be able to depend on a few regulars to take care of you week to week.

Like I said, I never waitressed in the clubs on Bourbon, so maybe someone else here can tell you what the $$ is like doing that. I had a friend who cocktailed at Huslter (or one of their other clubs, I forget), and she hated it. There was tons pf "training" where she wasn't making tips, then when she finally got on the floor $$ was awful. That was in the middle of summer though, and summer is always horrible here. It could be totally different this time of year - I don't know. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Yea someone referred me to hustlers I think I'm going to give it a week and make the drive on over. I've never worked nights at any club do u know anything about there dayshift. I guess dayshift was more talking a Guy would buy u a drink or food any get a couple dances but dances in Atlanta or $5 or something cheesy like $10 2for1 (SO DUMB) so that's what I'm accustomed too I guess I'm not the die hard hustler but I'm not looking to make a crazy amount in a night so maybe that will work out for me. I tried traveling to south Carolina and danced in a couple clubs there it was "too much of a hustle" girls fought to dance for guys broke into each others lockers and stole sold drugs to clients and did anything under the sun for a Benjamin. I don't have that hustle in me I mean I wont be overly passive BC I'm a single mom and need some money but I'm worried cuz I know I'm not the cut throat hustler type ill get aggravated and say f it before I become that. So should I still try it? Hustlers to be exact. Thx for answering!

i believe my old manager is now down at nola hustler club if so his names Joe. but you should try dancing over waitressing, but if they turn you down for dancing why not ask to waitress? Oh! and Hustler has honey searches ($500 for the winner plus the contract to dance) it's based off crowd applause so if you can get a big group together do that.
