Yeah support finally got back to me and were like "oh yeah, your store was supposed to be active. Oops" but by that time I had already gotten most of my clips into one store and wasn't about to move 300+ videos again.
@Incantatious, that happened to me when I first switched to wire (I'm in Canada) but it got sorted very quickly, I hope you get paid soon!

^ At the weekend, they said I should get paid "sometime" this week.. :/

I emailed Gia, the payroll person I was directed to via the answer to my support ticket. She said some payouts didn't go through like they were supposed to this month and offered me a wire or check by mail. I took the check to avoid the wire fees. Yeah, I could use mine too!
PinkGeisha: "NOTHING IMPRESSES A CAMMODEL MORE THAN A GUY THAT LETS HIS MONEY DO THE TALKING"

That's... infuriating.
About to check my bank today to see if my pay has finally come through. I swear support are so useless sometimes.. it took me ages just to get through to them that I didn't get paid because they were too busy ignoring my actual question, and too busy dealing out a pointless copy+pasted comment to me about "We send payments on the 7th of each month". Oh my god.
Last month I didnt upload many clips only five. No wonder I got 170 dollars. Bout I was like its okay no worries i will do more clips and earn more next month. But!
As far as I know wire fee is 45 dollars. From the 170 dollars even after i deduct the 45 dollar fee I got only 93 dollars!!!!
Can any of you lovely ladies explain me why?

I still don't have my pay for last month.
That leaves tomorrow and maybe Saturday? I'm not getting my hopes up.
Jesus.. I didn't think there'd be such a problem just wiring me my money.
[ETA] - I got it Friday. pheww

Did anyone else have their top selling clips list disappear? Mine are suddenly blank in both of my stores.
I dont know why it happends with me too but all u have to do is to refresh the page if not once then twice and it goes back to normal. Or try different browsers.
But gosh when I saw it first it freaked me out!

Hello,
does anyone know if there is a way to block certain countries on your c4s studio?
thanks
I don't think it's possible.

thanks Ashley,
*sigh*
I wrote in to c4s to ask them, as always they were super quick to reply but they said:
'No, we do not have a way to ban/block countries per studio, so we can not do this for you. As the merchant we allow all countries except the ones we (Clips4Sale.com) chooses not to sell content to.'
BUM! I was hoping they were the same as aw and I could just check a box, I've noticed a couple of clips sell very close to home recently and have cringed... hmmm, no solution to that one as far as I can see.
This is kind of a threadjack. I just wanted others to see my experience and see if there is anything they can take from it.
So I'm uploading 1 clip a day now. I was doing 2, but that was getting overwhelming. Another member said "Why not make a longer clip that you make more money off of instead of having to sell 3 or 4 little clips to equal the same amount?" I'm focusing on making longer, better quality (not rushed) videos that are fun to make. I'm not really comfortable talking in my clips, but I figure that will come in time. I also think the description is key! I used to put a basic description because I was afraid guys might wank to a great description. God I was wrong. It probably still happens, but I changed all the descriptions and now older clips are selling. I totally overhauled my store. Made it more appealing. I added my contact info to my site, e-mail, twitter, tumblr, and if someone contacts me, I send them a short reply thanking them and telling them to keep visiting my store. Or send my custom rates if they seem really interested, to try and get them to bite. I've noticed that doing these things has brought in additional traffic. And I've paid attention to whats selling, and making more in that category. Getting repeat customers!
Now I'm far from a top selling store. But I'm doing about $20 a day, this doesn't include the customs I'm doing. Might not sound like a lot, but over a whole month that's $600, a year it's $7,200, for only working 2 days a week. So what if I'm making minimum wage. That's only what I'm making now, without leaving my house!
Good luck and keep selling ladies!

no sweetie thats not a thread jack that GOLDEN been there done that advice im copying this and saving it in my notes.
but i had a question. do guys like it when u talk A LOT in ur clips? im a bit of a dork and i tend to babbler and go on about stuff. will guys find that a huge turn off like im talking too much and just killing time making the clip run longer and upping the price or do u guys like to 'get to know you' thru ur personality and what u say in the clips? tomorrow is my first day at making clips so i wanna know if i should just be "me" or just kinda go straight to the point with what im doing and ONLY talk focus on that ?
@Snowy0Star
I know the question wasn't directed at me, but if I can stick my oar in, guys love talking for the most part. I only do a very few clips with no talking. There's no way they will think you're babbling. With clips it isn't the direct interaction that camming is, and in most cases talking enough for the two of you is the only real way to try and make that kind of a connection with whoever is watching. Definitely describe what you're doing, but let your personality shine!
@Aurora14 congratulations on your store taking off! Glad to see you've found some stuff that works. I've personally found that my shorter clips sell a bit better, I know some people think "well they're going to buy it anyways, I might as well milk it" but I really don't think that's the case. If a guy has a say $10 budget, he may very well want to buy two videos instead of one. I try to hit around the six minute mark, give or take. But my shorter ones sell better, and my extended versions do about half as well. It's pretty easy to rewind a bit and watch again if you need more time, and they may just not want to spend $10 on a video if they aren't going to last through the whole thing. Just what I've noticed though, definitely not trying to put down anything you do!

I also don't think longer clip is a better selling everytime. At least for me. I've made some longer clips, like 10 minutes or more and I really think the clips were good and worth the money. But they're not selling that good. I think people just don't want to spend much everytime. But also I think it varies for different people and categories. If you have a lot followers who just want to buy everything with you yes, you can make longer clips and make more money. So as everything else I think it depends and you just have to try it to see what works best for you.

I suck at this site but I keep uploading since I have made some money and want it. Today I woke up to emails with two clips being sold meaning I finally made payout!! It's not a lot but still I have to quit my vanilla job so every lil bit helps right now.

I think there are a couple of variables that need to be taken into consideration: are your clips personality-driven or content driven? Why are people buying your clips? Is it because they like your face/body/personality or is it because of what you are doing?
For example - I produce clips - I don't appear in them. So my clips are content driven - although I have one model who outsells everyone else because (I'm guessing) her looks and on-screen persona.
But let me get to my point. I shot in 6 different categories my first go-round, and 80% of my sales came from 1 category. And when I "bundled" that one category with 3 different models, guess what? I no longer sold the 7 minute version for $7.99, but rather the 21 minute version for $19.99. People will spend when you produce something they want.
I'm in the process of shooting right now and I'm only shooting in the one category, but two different styles. One is 15 minutes of just action inside an apartment, and the other is a 40 minute clip with storyline, costume and outdoor location shooting. I will sell the 15 minute clip for 19.99 and the 40 minute for 29.99. It will be interesting to see which is more profitable and I'll report back here.
I successfully sold a 93 min clip and a 56 min clip))) and for a dollar a min.+1 I am really happy plus someone else also bought the 56 min clip so i erned 104 dollars on 2 clips
But thats just lucky lol
Anyway I never do clips under 4 mins. I just cant I tried, because i see the potential in smaller ones but i always talk in my clips and I cant do anything great in 2 or 3 mins.
I always do 1 scene shots in many different categories. But I plan tu make real videos too like where i use editing and lots of extra features. My thing is that I just cant do clips when I am not in the mood. That sucks I know.
Snowy! Dont do what u do in freechat! Be yourself and for example make a clip in the confessions category and talk about how much you love anime. Another on how much you love gaming. SImply just talk they will love it if they see that there is a girl who adores stuff that usually boys like.
do the foot thing like choose different things what u can grab with your toes and make a compliation of it.
Or talk about how much u love your belly and massage lotion on it while u do that.
But first and foremost chose different fetishes. The ones you like or interested in. I think its important ta first to try different categories because thats the way to find out which suits u the most which ones sell the most. And if u got that make more clips in that.
Dont forget to upload 11 vids. 10 is the must have to be able to open your store and the plus one is for u to be able to appear on c4s` main site.
Dont forget to choose ur stores main category like BBW.
At first until u get fully verified you wont be able to accept payments only by the gozmo thing. Thats why u need to look ovr all the application details to make sure ur store gets opened fast, Do u have the w9 form?
contact the supports tooif u have questions they r supehelpful.
hmm what else.... oh yeah check the logitech software before u start to shoot. With ur new comp it wont be a problem, but if i dont reboot thr pc before i shoot the software gets lagging after 10 mins of recording and it sucks when u do something cool u watch it back and well the recording sucks because its oiut of sybnc or whatever.
at first do not overprice clips stick with the average like a 5 min clip for 5,99 8 min for 8,99 average okay? Later when u find your way u can charge way more or if the clips is longer like 20 mins + you can charge less its all about experiencing things,
ans if i have something else in my mind i will check back. Best of luck!

Ok im about to making clips and i just remembered no music i cant imagine sitting here all day and not having music on would it look odd to have my ipod and headphones in theyre not dj style theyre little buds

That's awesome! Did those two clips start as customs?
Also, if you sold the clips twice, that's not luck - that's having a good product that someone wants to buy - you should be very proud!
I firmly believe people will pay $20 and up a clip - if it's in the right category.
