Default Hair Extensions Problem, Bumpy Head

OK, let me try to explain this. I made my own hair extensions, I "doubled up" so to speak so that the hair wouldnt look thin. I did not sew the pieces together I just sewed the clips on both of them if that makes sense. When I put my extensions in, it gives my head a bumpy look. I think that the bumpy look could be caused by my extensions not being "doubled up" well. Does this make sense to anyone?

Yah. If you going to double up, you really need to sew them together first to make sure there is not going to be any bumps in the two tracks. Then put the clips on and it should lie flat.

You may not have thick enough hair to not sew/glue them together, I know this because i have thin hair & cannot do it either. Mine have to sewed or glued together to avoid a weird bump, thanks to my awesomely thin hair...

It is hard to explain, but see how the clip has a top and bottom row of two holes? You could always try sewing a single wheft onto the top holes and another wheft onto the bottom holes. You'd probably have to sarifice some of the legnth but it would still give you the thickness.

Don't double up the pieces you put on the first few sections of your head.

i agree with the comment about not doubling up the first few rows. those thinner rows will help to camoflauge the doubled up ones that are giving you that bumpy effect
