    Dizzy BEST makeup for strippers?

So i wanna know what is the best makeup look for dancers. What look gets you the most money. The reason i ask is at work i wear a heavy smokey eye while other girls just wear eyeliner, lipgloss, and false eyelashes and im wondering if my makeup look is affecting my money. Do you make more money with less heavy eye makeup or is it about even or does it not matter whatsoever what makeup you wear?

i go for playboy style, glam girl next door look and that makes me the most money. brown smokey eye with black winged out liquid liner, long lush but natural looking falsies, bronzer, and baby pink lipstick and gloss. makes me tons of money, more than any other makeup look i do.

i like purple smokey eye (matte, not shimmer, lol) but i feel like the guys like the above look better ^^^ obviously not natural, but not as unnatural as other strippery looks, but still has the strippery look to it. sorry that must come off as confusing lol

I haven't noticed a big difference in my makeup vs. money.

I do several looks, depending on the night. On friday/saturday, I tend to do heavier more sparkly eyemakeup, since it's more of a party night. On weeknights, it's more like what miss1dancypants does.

I prefer simple. Liquid liner, fanned out at the ends, thick mascara (no falsies), some concealer if I need it on scars/pimples, and a natural looking pinkish/red lipstick/gloss. I think guys prefer a more natural look rather than the overdone heavier looks.

I've noticed that I make the most money when I wear less make up. I have a very girl-next-door natural thing going on that really seems to work for me when I play it up. I where laura mercier tinted moisturizer... gives me a really nice light glow. And usually curl my lashes and where light mascara, with a little lip gloss.

There have been quite a few times where I'll get to work and realize I've forgotten all of my makeup. So i'll just put my hair in a bun or something and pray to god that nobody is utterly appauled by me--but I always end up doing so well on these nights and it never fails to suprise me. I've never understood this!-- but I do remember that when I was a baby stripper I worked with a girl who would deliberately wash off all of her makeup and put her hair in a side ponytail and she'd always make so much money that way.

i'm a total makeup whore so i use loads, but in natural tones so under the club lights it looks fairly simple. i go for...

foundation, concealer (under the eyes), bronzer (for contouring), highlighter pen (under the eyebrows), blush, eyeshadow (golden pink and copper), pencil liner (waterline), liquid liner (top lid - catseye), permanent fake lashes, fuschia lipstick, lipgloss

yeah it's a lot but lots of it isn't really noticeable. i hate makeup that looks really obvious.

I seem to make more when I do dark eyehadows like black or purple over nude/gold or naturals. Idk maybe it's b/c the lighting of the club requires heavier makeup b/c in the mirrors out on the floor it hardly looks like I have anything on and when I do nudes/naturals I look washed out whereas in the dr or daylight the nudes look best. I suck at makeup so those are my 2 choices dark or not dark haha.

I did the minimal makeup look for years, and just a few weeks ago I started doing dramatic smokey eye (got a girl at MAC to show me how to do it ) and I get tons of compliments on it, and feel much more confident. Wish I had learned how to do my makeup like that sooner! I think the customers prefer it too.

For sheer drama, Urban Decay is pretty spot-on. Their eyeshadows have an ungodly amount of pigment, to the extent that I would NEVER EVER EVER wear it during the day. I generally prefer a good smoky eye, though I occasionally experiment with dark purples or greens, or metallics. Depends on my mood. I also sometimes mess with Make Up For Ever...they have some good sparkly powder that has incredible staying power and doesn't come off all over the place...so I can get my glitter and shimmer fix without having to worry about it getting on customers. And for a good, quick design, I use Dior's All-In-One Artistry Palette in Smoky Design. It's a really good dramatic smoky eye that's impossible to fuck up.

I generally just use Bare Minerals powder for foundation, but I have really good skin so I can get away with it. And I usually use just a simple nude or rose gloss...I can't pull off super-dark lipstick, so I don't even try. I'm a big fan of dark eyes and pale lips, anyways.

Keeping your makeup at a flawless model type level seems to work. That's how I wear my makeup and have no problem making money. THe guys love it, they believe I'm a model by the look of makeup and clothes, even though I actually was a model! lol. But I just say sexy and classy, not too little and not too much, just right!!
