    Default Dublin Gown Club

So, I just got hired at a gown club (topless dances only) and I start tomorrow night. My problem is that I dont really have that many nice dresses on me because I recently moved and didnt think I would be in need of dresses so now I need to find some affordable but quality gowns. Clearly I took this job because I have always been fascinated with the world of lap dancing, pole dancing and I need the money. I'm not at all experienced in pole dancing or lapdancing are these things learned best on the job or has anyone taken any pole dancing lessons?

For the mean time where do you ladies buy your dancing gear from (including shoes)? I've checked some websites out that would ship internationally but I'm just curious as to what I should wear underneath my gowns because once I strip it off I'll either be topless or have to remove whatever is covering my breast. Lastly I know this might be a difficult question to answer but how much money do you think I might be able to make at a gown club here in Dublin? I can always ask my manager tomorrow but if anyone has any in put I would appreciate it. Thank you very much!!

P.S. Sorry for all the questions I didnt know I had so many

    1. Congratulations on getting hired!

    2. Don't waste your time with pole dancing, lap dancing, or any other kind of lessons. You'll pick up lap dancing on the job, and pole dancing is way less important than you think it is. When you're on stage, you want to be showing off your best assets and interacting with the clientele for tips/dances once you get off stage.

    3. Don't worry about buying a whole new stripper wardrobe when you haven't even started dancing. Work with what you've got and see how things go tomorrow night. Once you've worked a shift or two, you'll figure out what's the norm at your club dress-code wise, and have a better idea of what your style is. For now, it might be easier to not wear a bra underneath your gown just for simplicity's sake. As for finding gowns, check out your local mall for those stores where teenage girls can buy slutty clothes - that's where I've found some of my best stripper gear. And you'd be surprised by how much from your closet can be reappropriated into something stripper appropriate.

    4. Impossible to tell how much money you'll make. Not only does it vary by club, but also by shift, clientele, hustling skills, etc., etc. The thing about this job is that you can never know how much you will walk out of the club with when you're starting your shift. Unless the club tracks dances and tips, your manager won't have any idea how much the girls are really making. I don't recommend asking the girls themselves. Just go in and see how it goes for a week or so, keeping in mind that as a new girl, your earnings may be either inflated (you're the new face so all the customers want to take you for a spin) or deflated (your hustling skills aren't so strong yet).

    5. Good luck!

wow i danced in dublin and found it very difficult and that was before the recession hit, is it barclays or lapellos?what nationality are you?(the managemet there really hate the british) i wouldorder a few dresses online, just a few not too many(maybe 2-4), get one proper stripper ones and don't wear anything underneath or if you have to wear a top underneath just strip it off after you've taken off the dress

Thanks Shanna, I'll take your advice and just feel things out. I'm sure I'll get the hang of things. I have pretty large brest and I'm not too thrilled about not being able to make them look more lifted but I guess I'll get use to not wearing a bra. To be honest the one thing I really want to spend some money on is some proper shoes.

Tiger Toes the club I'm talking about is La Petite and I'm british black. I went to both of those clubs hoping they might hire me as cocktail staff but that didnt really work out. They were nice to me but they didnt need cocktail staff. When I came into the club they both thought I wanted to apply as a dancer but at the time I didnt really think I would be the type of girl they would hire as a dancer. La Petite is not one of the main clubs here but I think I will do well because its small and the three out of five girls that I met last night were very down to earth. However even though people seem nice that doesnt really mean they are. The club manager was straight up with how the flow of the club works so I'm looking forward to my first night.

Smart girl on investing in the shoes - they really do make a world of difference and your feet will thank you by the end of your shift! And if you'll feel sexier in a bra, go for it and wear one because that's what's going to make you the money. But if you've got big tatas, I'd recommend a halter dress because those are generally quite good for lifting and pushing them together.

Thanks for the tip....I'll go look for some outfits tomorrow. Also, my first night wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Everything turned out quite well. So, I hope that it only gets better.
