    Default Bulk??

Hi I don't think I've ever posted a thread in stripperweb so this would be my first. Um I have a serious problem! I'm planning on stripping when I'm 21 and every workout I seem to do I bulk up! Like huge muscles! Well maybe not that big but still you can see it. And I see these lean thin girls just losing inches off their waist(which is hell for me to lose just 1 inch) and gaining practically nothing! What And to top it off they have such great butts and everything is going right to my thighs!!! You think I would at least get a butt out of this? I'm so sad. It seems like nothing I do is right. Is there anybody out there who has had this kind of problem? Is there any kind of workout that fits best? Pilates or spinning class(what is that?) I'm sorry but my computer is dying and my stupid charger blew up and the thing cost 80 bucks!! So I won't be able to get it till friday or saturday. The latest I'll check this thread is Monday. Thank you for all your advice beforehand and I'm sorry for the long post!

Is there a gym near you that offers a free session or two with a personal trainer as an incentive to sign up with them? They'll be able to tweak your workout into one that will hopefully give you the results you're looking for.

You can never change what God gave you without surgery. Take what you have and make the best of it. I would also hire a trainer. They can give you exercises to stay lean without bulking up.

Exercise never causes someone to Bulk, food does! I would have to look at you to see what you need to work on & a plan of attack but exercise is never the problem.

Hi guys me again(I borrowed my brothers charger) and thank you for all the advice. I think I will look into a personal trainer(If it's not that expensive) and as for what I eat....well that depends. I'm a college student and I live in Chinatown so I eat alot of Chinese food(dumplings, white rice and chicken, etc). I also eat alot of Spanish food because my grandmother loves to cook and it takes great! Very rarely I'll cheat with McDonalds or Wendys but that's maybe once every 2 months. But I eat PLENTY of greens and fruits! I have them with every meal or and I have an apple everyday just alone(I love apples) Is this not working? Do I have to make sure that I don't go over a certain amount of calories? But how would I manage to do that!?

Your plan for a trainer is good for the basics, so you don't hurt yourself & supplement that with a class or 2 & some cardio. Your diet needs some work. I always had people start off by watching there liquid calories & a good breakfast, some protein, complex slow burning carbs & a maybe some fruit depending on the goal. There is your place to start...exercise, reduce liquid cals & a solid start of the day with a good breakfast. There are plenty of smart women on here that post good info...read!

1800 calories a day + college student walking everywhere = what you're aiming for, i imagine.

Everybody is different in their nutritional needs, calories in minus excersise =? & I would try to set a plan where there wasn't a cutoff at x amount of calories a day.

I hate diets, lifestyle choices are so much better.

1800 is such a nice number though. you really can't go wrong with a number divisible by 3, 5, and 900.

Your goal is to lean out but you are eating way too many carbs. You mentioned dumpling, white rice, and spanish food, which is also rice dominant in most cases. I, like you, tend to put on mad muscle very easily. Knowing this I do not do stair climbing exercises, spin classes, any weight bearing lunges, or lower body weight lifting. My cardio consists of running and I do bikram yoga.

Unbelevable is right - you will see the most dramatic changes when you change your diet. For me that meant eliminating all alcohol, breads, gluten, rice, and corn. It was very difficult but now I'm leaner. How I look now couldn't have been achieved before, no matter how many miles I ran, even though I was of normal weight. I'm still muscular and that will never change. I am not meant to be a twig, but tweaking my diet finally helped me accept my body.

WoW pipermonroe, you're strong! I can't imagine not eating any more rice or bread ever! Is it possible to just cut back? Like once or twice a week? And is that a specific type of yoga? Is there a specific place to get it from or do it? Does it help with your waist line? And what's up with the 1800 calories? I've never heard of that. That you guys for all your help so far!!!

if you are into calorie counting (some people are, some are not), you can calculate your daily caloric needs to losing/maintaining weight on various websites. most women are going to be around 1800 calories.

after my dad died, i gained some weight, and tried dieting and whatever else to lose it. what worked was eating enough calories (no more aiming for 1200 calories a day and having constant cravings), staying active, and changing my mentality (not obsessing about food, calories, jean size). once i stopped bashing my body, accepted it and loved it, found good things about it, stopped comparing it to other people's, stopped punishing it by withholding food from it, the weight came off on it's own.

you can try to cut your calories lower than 1800 but i think that starts to trigger huge cravings and obsessing over foods and that's a shitty way to waste your youth.

Just a thought...If you understand how your body works & understand between a craving & thirst; your body will tell you how to eat.
